I recently had a bearing/hubreplaced . The local mechanic told us that the set up (from factory) is a ford hub with Holden bearings. Has anyone ever heard of this before.

What I don’t get tho is that Ht Holden studs are 63mm but I went to Supercheap to buy a brand new Ht hub and I mesured it and it was 67mm so that’s where I get confused but my old hub off the tralier was Ht also and it was 63

What is the torque for 5 stud 13" HT Holden nuts?

Thanks for the info. How do I tell the difference between an hq and commodore stud pattern. I believe that there is only a difference of about half a mm between the two pcd. Is there an easy way to look at my steel trailer wheels and work out what I have?

I hate it when they don't bother to answer questions on videos they post. Rude as all hell. They deserve to go out of business.

One reason is the axle has camber.

does the axle need to be longer if you retrofit from a straight axle to a drop axle?

  • @bradpool127

Could this have been more simple, accurate and to the point, I don't think so. Brilliant mate thankyou!

Great information. Another reason to have a drop axle is to lower the center of gravity and allow your load to be more stable during corners. Keep up the good work with the videos.
