Bugging all my electronics...
This video is a bit different from others in the past but, this is what I'm up to and I think it's pretty fun! I've been experimenting with inputs for sound and trying to plug in things that should be plugged into things, that's the premise of this video, enjoy!
I am in no way (unfortunately) sponsored by the company who sells this electronic, but if you want one here's the link where I got it:

Making the Poor man's Guitar from Scratch
มุมมอง 1918 หลายเดือนก่อน
Step by step on how I built my very first 3-string guitar. My solid body version of the cigarbox guitar. Hope some of you find it helpful! I did change the pick guard to plastic because the vinyl kept breaking, made from a cutting board from the dollarstore. There's also some footage missing from me making and gluing the fretboard but it's totally optional. For the fret spacing i measure from t...
The lowest-fi Record Player - DIY - How to
มุมมอง 4839 หลายเดือนก่อน
I turned myself into a record player! Well, kinda. As usual trying to be as simple as possible with this one, using only an old motor to spin the record and a piezo contact mic. A fun project if you want to sample from old records or get some weird retro sounds! DISCLAIMER: Don't use your good records for this... As someone mentioned to me, using such a needle will permanently ruin your discs. ...

In this video I show how I created a very Lo-fi Rhythm Module for synthesizers. The circuits are from the NE555 Analog Rain Dropping Circuit, which you can order very cheaply online. So far I only have an Atari Punk Console which I got from a kit to test this with. Honestly at this point I'm just putting things together and seeing what happens. If it's perfectly enclosed I don't see why not? But if you're at all worried you could use a passive mic to be safe instead of an active condenser mic like mine which does need a voltage to function.

Just a random heads up that since you are using a piezo with a guitar cable, the impedance isn't matched and you are creating a natural high pass filter and that's why it lacks bass. You can wire in a preamp circuit, or get a cloudlifter or similar device, really any sort of buffer to match the impedance of the piezo and it will sound a million times better.
