i have always had an avid interest in video games! more specifically, ones that are psychological and emotional. they have been a source of comfort, escapism and creativity for the majority of my life.
some of my favorites are hotline miami, the mother series, omori, yume nikki, pokemon mystery dungeon, and lisa the first.

the “blue fox” i was talking about was actually the ice fawn! also, i meant to talk about the magazine i had that was moshi monsters- for some reason back then it took 8 months to arrive to my house. it was the edition with lady goo goo in it. if i could go back, and not have gotten rid of that, holy crap..

@@sleepysealasmr I also agree with the commenter below me that you should play Undertale again :) There are more similarities between Undertale, the Mother series than one may think. Plenty of videos on it (just ignore the sans is ness game theory hahaha)

About the gecko that "lost its spots" --- actually, that's LPS #111, which is a colour changing LPS! The spots change colour based on the temperature I think, which is why on the original Get Better Centre box that it comes in, it is advertised as "Hold gecko and his spots 'disappear'!" It's really cool but a lot of collectors don't know about this so they assume the gecko's paint wore off instead (I thought the same thing until recently I discovered the truth)! Edit: I saw another comment already mentioned this lmao, I probably should've checked first before commenting 😂

My biggest regret is giving away all my lps when I was younger. My parents made me
i’m so sorry to hear that!! i’ve seen a few other people say the same thing in the comments of other lps videos.. you can always slowly rebuild your collection- or if that feels too overwhelming, start a new one with the sets/pets you wanted as a kid and never ended up getting! i look mostly on ebay and facebook marketplace :-)
I dod the same 😭😭😭 and I lost my mlp collection also which i think at this point was worth like 500 bucks at least BECAUSE THEY MADE ME DO IT

Thank you so much for showing us the books in so much detail. Becuz of that I was able to determine what category some of my older pets were in!
you’re so welcome- i was hoping some of those who own/ed lps would benefit from this video!! and same here, i realized the majority of the pets i had before were earlier gen, and like i said i think a lot of these in the books were organized by sets that came out hence the categories- i’m so lucky i was able to experience the prime of childhood with toys like this!

21:42 in the words of the great metro man “my death was GREATLY exaggerated”. EDIT: also PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD play undertale. It isn’t REALLY about the gameplay, I think of it more as a book, as it can get a bit repetitive, but thankfully you can beat it in under 5 hours. Also, if you prefer the gameplay of earthbound, try deltarune, it’s made by Toby, but has more influence from earthbound. Toby also worked on the earthbound Halloween hack, in I believe 2011, so he definitely got inspiration from earthbound.
okay i will definitely try it again!! i remember playing through it and appreciating a lot about it, but i think i have an issue when things i like become mainstream or at least, what was considered mainstream at the time in my mind? 😂 i loved the music, and i remember vaguely that it was about frisk, a girl who it seemed like you were “cleansing the world” but it was actually people who were good? kind of like off in a way? or like.. yume nikki cause you can choose to kill or not.. i love these games so much and i think revisiting undertale will be nice (kind of want to revisit others as well..) i have seen deltarune, is it not connected to undertale in any way? that is so cool and i’ve seen footage of that halloween hack! will have to try all these and get back to y’all..

I really wanna get this And I also want the Mr Saturn plush Is there enough to admire without being able to read most of it you think?
as a collector’s piece i think it’s worth it. i like that i have a piece of merchandise that is officially mother, that shows all the characters in an organized form that includes all 3 games. it’s cool that something like that exists. i looked through it when i first got it, but it mostly sits on the shelf- the visuals are nice but a little repetitious since we can’t read it. (it’s mostly of the sprites and map locations.) if you’re looking for something that you can pick up more, i would suggest the pollyanna comic books, because they contain a lot more artwork, still in japanese but it’s a lot more visually appealing in my opinion. i was able to use a translator for those and could understand most of what the artists were saying. it’s very heartfelt and shows other fans’ personal experiences growing up and playing mother. (i’ll be making a video of these!) if this helps at all, the complete scripts also comes with an exclusive little sticker book- it’s essentially just sheets of different scenes from mother and stickers from all three games. the pollyanna books both have sticker sheets at the “back” of the books. the mr saturn plush is so cute and an obvious good merch decision. you can never have too many 🎀
New Sub here. Great video Game collection. I forgot about Silent Hill. Apparently they have another Silent Hill movie out, Silent Hill: Ascension. I never tried the games but Interested in trying them out. I also enjoyed the GTA Games. Vice City is also My Favorite. Thanks for sharing.
thank you! i definitely recommend silent hill, of course the originals (1-4) will always be my favorite, there’s something about that uncanny and airy atmospheric charm they have. i am interested in playing the remake tho out of intrigue! i did see that ascension thing- it’s like an interactive tv show type deal?
