In her own words, Stefanie is obsessed with her daughter Lilly. "She is my all time favorite person." Lilly is an AAC user who is also a gestalt language processor who uses Proloquo2Go. Stefanie is the President & cofounder of Lilly’s Voice, a nonprofit that provides Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to children in the US. She started this journey as a driven mother, determined to help her own nonspeaking autistic daughter with communication. Now she has become somewhat of an expert and go-to person for AAC device assistance and inspiration. Despite working a full-time job and homeschooling her daughter, Stefanie has spent 8+ years helping families worldwide with all things Autism and AAC, she has teamed up with numerous SLPs to create content and AAC training, spoken at conferences and on Podcasts, even gone into elementary schools to train teachers and school SLPs on AAC devices.
Since launching Lilly’s Voice in May of 2021, Stefanie and her cofounder (cousin Amy) have provided over 450 AAC devices plus training to families all over the US!
