Hauna Zera Neni (title track)
We are all unique with no one being exactly the same as the other. Even "identical twins" are different, with one being older than the other.
So is life, our experiences or endowments. They're very distinct and unique and the higher being determines such for each individual. Thus, no matter how one may view or feel towards the other, the ultimate determiner of life and how one is going to be like is God, the one who blesses, gives and even takes too.
Because of that, life changes in the blink of an eye, there are no permanent winners or losers in this world. At any moment, tables may turn for better or for worse as we walk along our paths to our different destinies.
That being the case, we are all different, "hauna zera neni" (hatina kuenzana kana kufanana)
Enjoy, and remember to give feedback.

A prayer wrapped in song, asking for divine intervention in the trenches of life. This is an earnest and honest acknowledgement of the need for divine intervention in life matters. Always, let your light lead the way for us. Yet another laid back sound with nimble artistry embedded within. Enjoy the prayer!

An anthem in which the man heaps tonnes of praises on the woman whom he had to cross oceans for, Rose. Your thoughts on this one? 😊

A song of beseeching, begging, showing remorse to a lover who, seemingly, has turned her back. The guy reminds that what goes around comes around. A very laid back mixture of sound that penetrates deeply in the soul with some occasionally sharp chords in between. Do you think Molly ever returned? Your thoughts?

Loosely translated, "once an enemy, always an enemy." Well, some say there are no permanent enemies, right? In this song, a number of connotations and interpretations arise from the subject. Franco Slomo brings up the hot topic that in life there are some elements who are anti progress and always seek to downgrade, derail or disturb other people's progress. He goes on to allude that even in soc...

Here, the composer opens his heart which is filled with deep, earnest and profound gratitude to his parents. He takes himself from the journey of birth, infancy right up to adulthood from the perspective of a parent, the trouble and hardships they go through to raise a child. Motivated by a first hand experience of being a parent too, Franco Slomo in turn appreciates his own for the great work ...

Well, is it superstition or mere talk, some may ask. Manuwero takes you through a journey where one Manuwero (literal Shona version of Emmanuel) is cited as being the architect of incessant deep seated problems being experienced in the family, allegedly being caused by the use of black magic/voodoo / charms by Manuwero. These now result in serious misfortunes for the whole family. The author of...

A song which is a plea and an assurance by a husband that though they're not yet where they really want to be, their situation will change for the better. That the supreme divine hand of God will steer and change their fortunes. The husband goes on to make an allegiance that he will remain committed and faithful to the wife until death does them apart. This is a musical composition that seeks t...

This is a song that has some deep metaphors about life with the main theme being to encourage everyone never to lose focus. In life, there are many obstacles that we face on a daily basis but regardless of such, those that get the best out of life always remain focused on their ultimate goals. Chiringe Nzira is a Shona phrase that literally means "the one who watches the path." Literally remain...
