Awesome I’m looking for one
Good luck!😁
Really great post. Gives me a lot of idea's. Thank you
That's going to be a very nice truck once it's all done. I think it's definitely worth fixing. Subscribed!
Thank you, I agree. I just got more parts for it today, and more one the way.😁
It's not the lights, but it's actually the power supplies for the lights, since the lights require alot of power, the power supplies are extremely noisy and create a lot of rf interference in the AM and part of the FM range. The cables in the conduit act like antenna's that radiate the interference,
Right. I actually tried to install ferrite chokes on every light to help the situation and they didn’t work. So if someone else thinks that might be a good solution, it’s not worth wasting your time.😉
There's just too many lights and cables for ferrite chokes to work.
@@pathood7953 it was worth a try.
How did you find it and what did you have to pay for it? Thanks.
I bought it from a friend, I paid $300 in poor condition and had some money and time wrapped up in making it look like it does now. 👍
Those studs hold on that Nikki carburetor is a 4 mm
How much did it cost you to have the blacktop put in? And did you have to level everything out or put down gravel or anything before they black topped?
So the blacktop was already there but the grindings were not. The grindings cost me $17 per ton and each truck could haul 16-17 ton. Each truck was $100 for delivery. So about $375 per truckload. I paid someone $300 to dig it out and then I spread the grindings myself with my wheel loader. Hopefully that answers your question
@@beesprojects2692 Yes that does help thank you so much for the reply
What a great idea, I love the addition of the lights.
I'm glad you like the lights, I think they help a lot.
Looking into getting a set of landspiders. What are your thoughts so far?
Still like them so far.
@beesprojects2692 how about in snow/ rain? I'm in central Wisconsin, so just curious about that. Not much information on landspiders. Mine will be going on an OBS Suburban, 1994. Thank you for the reply.
@@wardaddy028 I am in Michigan and we still haven’t gotten much snow this year but the rubber feels very similar to my coopers and Goodyear. I don’t have a good answer for you on that but I expect they will be pretty good. I watched some videos before I bought these and they did excellent off road against name brand tires.
How do you balance them?
I would take them to a tire shop and have them balanced if needed. Usually it’s $10 per tire. I don’t have a way to do it but Harbor Freight sells tire balancing equipment if you wanted to do it yourself. You’ll need a hammer and lead weights also.
A deep rectangular hole lined with a pond liner & wooden frame or even bricks would probably be cheaper if you did it yourself & you’d be able to stand up in it.
Another great idea!
Nice to see what happened with him after King Of The Hill. Great job Hank! 🍻
Nice but still 4 wheels touching the surface
true, I use a $60 electric scissor lift that sits on the ramp to lift wheels off of it when I need to.
injection pump or lift pump what are you referring to?
Lift pump, I have other videos on this truck as well.
Hello, where did you pick up your oil cooler lines from? What is the part number? My 95 K1500 oil lines are not like yours. Mine connect to the oil adapter straight into the adapter, whereas your lines connect to the block or another adapter.
I bought them on Rock Auto. Part numbers I bought are GM genuine 19213710 and 12472314.
Another foot taller would be awesome. Then you can roll around on a shop stool easily
@@WillDogJones1 I agree!😁
how did you source the flue pipe? It would add cost? your buld looks sharp.
So part of the pipe I had gotten with the old homemade wood stove when I purchased it and I think I had to buy one piece at Home Depot. 👍 Thank you! I’m still very happy with this set up.😁
>"Find one of these for a couple hundred dollars and you’ll be glad you did!" It's not helpful if you can't find one. Good for you, but this is not helpful to us.
@@billparker8954 since the posting of this video I have seen two of these for under $500. Sorry you can’t find one. I hope you do if you truly want one.
What a great idea! I’m still working in the gravel using jack stands and c this would make my life so much better. Please bring it over😂
@@EverydayProjects 😁 it is very handy.
@ A friend has old truck frames sloped onto big rims and that works ok, but getting the vehicle up and level like your set up is totally cool. I’ll leave the shop light on so you can deliver anytime😂
Thanks god bless nice job
I’m building a Quonset hut out of free trampoline frames off marketplace. Considering using the sheet metal like you did.
That’s a great idea! I can see that working well!👍😊
Nevermind...
Did you fill the transmission head with 90wt gear oil.? They don't ship it with the gear oil in it.
That's such an easy repair (well, for me anyway) I would never scrap such a good blower. That is one of the good ones!
I’m sure I can repair it. I still have it but gotta find the time to work on it.👍 can’t beat the older stuff!
Built me one 😀
@@kamijoon4788 😀 that’s great! 😁
Did you warm your honda up before taking the oil out?
@@Dryden-in2np I can’t remember if I did or not.
Yes
Would duct tape work for those seams? The metal tape for ducting?
No, unfortunately it gets too hot.

Definitley restore the Cub Cadet.
Actually I think the amount of stuff you’re carrying is pretty sensible, because you’ve chosen carefully. I like the fact you’re preparing not only to take care of yourself, but to take care of your fellow citizens if necessary. Excellent job, carry on!
@@Cnhfcsh thank you!
One thing I like to keep under the back seat of the truck is a 120 piece socket and wrench set I’ve had to use twice already can’t beat it when your stuck on the side of the road and got change out parts
Absolutely, I also had a 12 volt air compressor on order while I made the video. Good tip! Thanks.

Let me think about a flatbed trailer 😅
If you follow the wires off the alternator, they go to the starter and tie back in to the positive battery cable.
@@jameslollis6979 I believe that this tractor has a generator instead of an alternator.
That's great for a two foot six inch person.
@@dalevackar182 yes it would be helpful to extremely short people as well. Good point.👍
have any of yall ever used a car tilt lift?
Did you put the gasket maker on top of the gasket you had? Or just the gasket maker by itself?
I left the gasket on.
You need to oil the air filter lightly.
Are you sure you don't want to make this into a 25 video to waste my time?
As much as I do enjoy wasting your time, I think I’ll sit this one out.
Could have built a Lean too off the 20x20 for the second car. Probably would have been a little cheaper too. Thanks for sharing
Yes I could have but I wanted to keep it easily movable. When I had my driveway coated I actually picked It up and moved it and then put it back. I have two forklifts and some 21 foot fork extensions that were used for carrying boats around a marina and that worked perfectly to pick it up and move it out of the way.😁 The long term plan is to move both of these in to the back yard and build a garage starting where the back of the carports are now. So to me it made more sense to do it like this. I’m glad you liked the video, thanks for watching.
@ I’m excited to build mine next year. It’s going to be a much needed storage
@@daneking1209absolutely! Good luck and have fun.
Jack stands. Big ones
😁
I like how u put the white letter out Im gonna do that to mine next week, u can not scratch the rims by making your own attachment for that tire machine using a duck head works awesome
Good tip, thanks for sharing!
Please add an affiliated link to this thing on Amazon or somewhere. Thanks for sharing this product, that makes a lot of sense to have in a car instead of a battery!
I am considering starting an Amazon affiliate store for products that I believe in. I’m glad you found this content valuable and I appreciate your advice.😁
put the logs in firs. Then the kiln Dried scraps, then the newsprint, the newsprint will heat the flue and establish a draft and burn hot enough to burn the wood scraps. No diesel needed!.
Sounds great, I have old diesel that I need to use up after I replaced the tank on my diesel pickup so I’ll try that after it’s gone. About 3-4 gallons left.😁 nice tip!
Well Lesson: Before you call in the Plumber, check it yourself! Pump running, never builds up pressure - what could possibly cause that? All the valves (faucets) in the house are closed, the PumpTrol's working, there isn't a flooding in the house or at the pressure tank. So, go out to the well, remove the cover and take a look. Years ago, in Florida, our water bill was too high. I went to the meter at the street and noticed the grass wasn't greener on the other (city) side. Dug under that patch of lush green grass to discover a leak in 'our' pipe. Got a SS Hose clamp and a piece of rubber; turned the city valve off; clean the area around the leak; laid the rubber over the pinhole and secured it with the Hose Clamp. We sold that property years later and, I suspect, my repair is still holding tight. Had a well pump in NC run our electric bill up, went to the well head, found a and replaced a cracked fitting and that was 'years ago.' Since, I put in a pump monitor circuit that includes an HOUR METER and a Light and Sound Signal device so that any 'constant running' of the well pump (our controls and pressure tank are down in the basement) will be noticed long before the issue shows up on our Electric Bill! When our PRESSURE TANK failed a couple weeks ago, the pump was cycling frequently. I did some ONLINE research and discovered my WellMate Fiberglass pressure tank bladder had failed (after nineteen years). They wanted $250 just for the replacement bladder so I went with a Larger Tank from HD for $200. I figure I will save the WellMate in case I need to install a Pressure tank OUT OF DOORS in which case $250 for the replacement bladder might make more sense. I have NO IDEA what a plumber would have charged me to come look at my 'problem' but I'll bet I came in (under $300) way cheaper than had I hired someone to replace the pressure tank, 10" T-fitting, pressure relief valve, pressure gauge, Pumptrol Control Switch, drain valve, shut-off valve - plus the removal of the old system and rewiring the lot. Three hundred to replace a fitting - sounds like he knew a friendly plumber! Love what he's doing to his sheds.
