@@JohnJonhson-zm7ie if eagle did anything illegal they would have been suspended as well. There is nothing illegal about having a foreign kid on your team. If that was the case half of the psal would be in trouble

@Family that African kid was at least 20 to 22 and no it’s nothing wrong with having a foreign kid as long as he is the correct age. The kid didn’t even stay around to finish the season he left when the psal started checking ages and grades.

@@asrielbeats7421 that's why this platform is incredible. Everyone gets to voice their opinion. Definitely not discrediting any previous seasons, just laying out our argument for this season. From 1A-4A this year was full of drama, close games, upsets, and great football. Of course we are going to pump it up since Sage covered this season lol, but we appreciate your support all season long and we hope to keep this going!

@@TheGomabog I am glad you brought that up. Correct, the real winner that year was Curtis over Canarsie. And that same way, the real winner this year is Curtis again, over EHall. The Bowl was still a championship, similar to how 3A is a championship. So Tech has been in "a" championship game more recently than 1972. If we get into "real" championship, then are we counting this year's 3A? How is it different? I just wanted to make sure the announcers of this game was aware of that fact and hopefully they let their viewers now on tonight's football talk broadcast.

@@TheGomabog so the reference was that Tech was not in a championship game since 72. They didn't win in 72 by the way, just made it to the final. Being a part of the 07 team, I can say it certainly felt like a championship game and was presented by PSAL as such so the point being made is that Tech not being in "a" championship game since 1972 was not accurate.

@@TheGomabog I am definitely acknowledging that it is not the real championship. But then I would also argue that 3A is not the real championship - 4A is. Anyway, the main point wasn't about top or real championships. It was just the fact that the 1972 comparison would make more sense if Tech was playing in the 4A championship this weekend. Since this is a less competitive final (3A), it opens up the conversation to other formats such as the Bowl Final in 2007. We got the banner and medals and trophy, just the same as all the other championships from PSAL.
