I would recommend to take the night sailing, if you are interested in spending the day in Finland. That's what we did. We took a night sailing over to Turku, and then drove to Helsinki. There we hade many hours to explore the city. On the way back to Turku, we managed to have a look in that city as well, which I also may recommend. Then we took a night sailing back to Stockholm again. Sorry for a extremely late reply, but I wish you a nice trip!

This ferry is usally reasonable priced, but the price depands on which sailing you choose. I believe it is quite hard to use EUR and NOK currencies as cash in Copenhagen. I would advise you to primarly use card as payment method, but if you want to use cash, you should exchange to DKK.

Well, since the ship will operate mainly between Ancona and Zadar/Split, I don't see much sense in picking the ship without any cabins, especially when the service also includes overnight crossings. On the other hand, she is a bit slowish for the daylight service: a 20-22 kn ship would be more appropriate. Sometimes it's hard to understand the decisions of Jadrolinija. However. she's a good looking ship.

Takk så mye 😊 Synes også nedleggelsen av "svenskeferga" var en trist begivenhet. Ettersom at Fjord Line nå satser på Danmark, er det klart lov å håpe på en ny Oslo-Danmark-linje. Jeg er litt usikker på om dem er klar for det enda, og det krever klart et ekstra skip i flåten deres. Synes at enten dem, Stena, Color Line eller noen andre bør tenke på å gjenåpne denne ruten, ettersom at den stadig hadde reisende, og var en god og behagelig forbindelse til Danmark fra hovedstaden. Hørt fra flere at det ikke er så gøy å ankomme og avgå Danmark rundt midnatt, og det skjønner jeg godt. Så hvis et annet rederi tar over denne linjen, er det mulig DFDS gir "slipp" på stoppet innom Frederikshavn. Men for nå utnytter de det så godt de kan.

Thanks! 😄 I had a comfortable and pleasant cruise with both of them. If I have to choose, it's going to be Glory. When entering the ship, I was truly amazed by how modern and stylish the ship was. I have never been on a ship looking so fresh, modern and beautiful as Viking Glory. 🤩 Viking Grace was also a very nice ship. She was decorated in great style, yet quite different to Glory. The staff and overal experience on both ships were superb. I am definitely looking forward to come back on board both again soon. ☺ Next time I would like to try Tallink/Silja Symphony/Serenade, and maybe Baltic Queen too. I have always wanted to try the Birka Stockholm on a cruise as well. It will at least be great to see her sailing again. 🚢Hopefully I get to come to the Baltic Sea again next summer, but no plans yet. 😉
