      thanks! It is made by Double Helix Glass, but they seem to be out of it. here is their website: doublehelixglassworks.com/. You can buy it here: abrimagery.com/products/double-helix-elektra-rod?variant=46619917549820 seems like they still have some of it.

    Nice work, do you keep the prepared petals in an annealing oven while working on the others? And what about annealing in general for this kind of objects?

    That’s lovely but I couldn’t help looking at your fantastic lease bracelet did you make that and if so do you have a tutorial video?

    • @annamiller4907
      @annamiller4907 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! yes, I made the bracelet :) I made the leaves with brass press and then made the bracelet with sterling silver. I do not have a tutorial for it, but I plan to make more tutorials, so maybe someday it will be on here. Thanks for asking! Anna

    Will any thin gauge silver wire do this?

    • @annamiller4907
      @annamiller4907 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I found the results to be the best with 26 gauge pure silver wire. it must be pure silver and not sterling silver- sterling silver has copper in it and it will not be bright and shiny. I tried thicker wire as well, but the dots are chunkier and spaced out more.

    Can you tell me where you got your wire holders and what gauge of wire do you use? thanks Sandy

    • @annamiller4907
      @annamiller4907 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sandy, no problem. I use 20 Ga wire. the best wire I found is actually silver filled wire by Beadsmith. It is a bit on the softer side. You can also use copper wire 20 ga. THe wire holder is a pin vise I found after extensive research and buying many different kinds. I find this one to work best for my purposes. I sell these in my shop on etsy and my website: www.annamillerarts.com/product-page/lampworking-tool-lampwork-glass-wire-holder my etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/658589972/lampworking-tool-lampwork-glass-wire?ref=shop_home_active_1 thanks for asking! Would you mind sharing the names of the purple rods you used, Anna? They are so beautiful.

    • @annamiller4907
      @annamiller4907 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Babette, no problem. I think I used Effetre Violet Dark over Lavender Blue 5-6mm Pastel Effetre glass rod, Effetre Dark Amethyst over Effetre Lavender. Little beads are just the transparent Effetre dark amethyst and light violet.
