Thanks to the adorable host of lizard characters in our backyard, we have become crazy lizard people!
Growing up in the middle of the U.S., we were used to people feeding squirrels in their yards.
After moving into a home with a small backyard in Tucson, we felt inspired to feed the lizards visiting our garden to see what would happen- the Arizona version of feeding squirrels.
To our surprise, we quickly began to bond with these little reptiles, and they opened the doors to our previously mammal-centric hearts leading us to bring a bearded dragon into our family.
This channel is an anthology of our learning, bonding, and celebration of lizards.

Many times mostly like chemicals they absorb water through there skin

Wow! You are ready to raise a dragon army! Impressive. We are at 4 and they each have a section of the house...and a window perch. Gotta have that!
@@tucsonlizardlife yes it indeed.....I have a perch in every window in the house-thanks for the reply-dragons are the most chill pets on earth....and they all have different personalities!!
@@tucsonlizardlife I have a bad habit of over feeding them-one in particular(big Bertha)is getting close to 3 pounds....shes happy but hardly ever moves-lol the window perch is the best way for them to get the uv rays they need....I also spray the supra worms with water for Xtra hydration!!!
@@tucsonlizardlife I prefer the dunnar dragons more than the micro scaled ones....the dunnar dragons have more definition in their side spikes and beard!!!always remember........RESPECT THE BEARD!!!thanks

How Adorable, he’s not offended or angry thinking that there is another Beardie. He’s just curious and studying his reflection. Taika (Narcissus) the Bearded Dragon who saw his reflection in a teapot and fell in Love with himself. By all indications Taika has all rights to do so, he’s beautiful. ❤😊

@@fwogmaster they're cool. We recently adopted a rescue crested gecko. He's so cute and derpy. Geckos are fascinating. Such a different world from the beardies.

Thanks! He's estimated to be four years old, and he dropped his tail while his previous care givers were moving him to our house. So, his new full name is Senior Malfoy Ranapompis. (Spanish for frog booty) 😉. He's doing great!

I have a crested gekko too!
This is our first crested gecko. Very different energy from our leachie. He's much more outgoing. Lots of fun.

We love them. I have become very allergic to all the fur/dander babies and was without a pet for many years. Very 😢 sad. Then we started to learn about bearded dragons and a whole new world opened up for me. They bring so much joy to our home! ❤️
