i actually quite liked this, though i found it funny when the telepathic birds got adapted, the story went from "and the children died of humger, their mothers weeping at the inevibility of it all" to telepathic birds jiggling up and down and being all cutesy
I feel like there was on thing they kind of forgot about. cannibalism. I would be kind of pissed if I died trying to keep everyone around me alive. Then they just put all my fresh tasty meat in the ground for the worms of the hell-scape to enjoy.

This book is a bit to eventful to fall asleep to try a discworld novel instead thats my goto and if i cant fall asleep i go to good old sister morphine be careful tho it is highly addictive and the comedown if over endulges is worse than death sleep tight everyone
