Ringgold Band performs at Hawley's Ellingsen Bandstand July 29, 2023
Ray Stedenfeld is Band Director of the Ringgold Band which performed at the re-dedication of the landmark bandstand recently named as the Ellingsen Bandstand in honor of the designer of the bandstand and other structures in Hawley's Bingham Park in Northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains.

Found this deer on my pond eating the pond lillies. First time seeing this behavior since owning the property 2007.
Hiving a honeybee swarm

This was a large honeybee swarm which I had brushed some of the bees into my box. I tried to shake the remaining bees into the box but I missed; however, I must have had the queen in the box as the huge amount of bees that were on the ground and flying about all marched en mass into the box. It was quite amazing!

Great stuff, but the YT ended too soon (as do most animal rescue YTs). Better to also show the animals recovery and walking off into the woods.

And the win goes to guy with no life preserver or anything else but savvy and compassion . The deer comes out with exhaustion and a new lease on life. Guy looks like a prototypical hunter. Because real ones harvest animals and there is not one iota of pleasure in cheap shots or watching suffering.
