Chino Hills High School Marching Band 2024 “Wrong Side of the Tracks” -Bari Sax GoPro Cam
Last Thursday Full Ensemble Practice 11/14
Fairy tale ending to my final year marching. Being the woodwind captain for this program means so much to me. To the woodwinds, you guys have worked so incredibly hard. Every single practice you guys showed improvement and you guys inspire me so much. As a leader, you guys pushed me to be the best version of myself just so I wouldn't disappoint you guys. And as a person you guys made me realize my passion for just helping people. I loved being there for every single one of you guys throughout this journey. Thank you for also being there for me. You guys are the hardest working people I've ever met. I love every single one of you guys, and you guys truly changed my life for the best.
These past four years have been the best four years of my life. I've made so many new friends, new bonds, new memories that will last me a lifetime, grew so much as an individual, and had so much fun. I don't want to leave, I don't want to graduate, and I don't want to leave you guys. Thank you for everything, to the staff, to the parents, and to you guys.
To the freshman, it's worth it in the end. The amount of practices we've had under the hot sun, and cold nights. In the end it really is worth it. And the journey to the end makes this whole thing more worth.
To the sophomores and juniors, keep on pushing on. You guys are the core of this program who make it what it is. Never stop pushing yourself. Limits can be broken and you guys have shown me that.
To the seniors, I've have marched with most of you in my four years in this program. I have seen you guys grow, improve, and become the people you are today. I am so thankful to have marched with you guys, we are a family. We have gone through so much and it is finally over. You guys impacted this program so much and we made it what it is today.
A final thank you to my section the lowreeds, the woodwinds, the woodwind leaders, the drum majors, the staff, the parents, my friends, my past seniors and coaches, and to Johnny and Mr. Sanchez for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
Best four years of my life.

Final Rehearsal run before winning Grand Champions Definitely not my cleanest run but for sure the most fun run i’ve had so many memories to say about this season. Joining a new section, playing a “new” instrument (i marched alto the year before), having to use a metal mouthpiece that took ages to get a hang of (i still have a hard time using it, thank you barone for fighting for me to use it) ...
Congrats on 1st last year! I was a freshman in the James Logan Band last year when you performed this!
You did a fantastic job, Elijah! I haven’t seen that type of enthusiasm and leadership for quite some time!! Congratulations! That was cool that your aunt messaged me saying that she went to Fresno and gave me a congrats.
