@@avanlanche86 yeah, any add-ons are supposed to ship in Wave 2, after the book tiers finish shipping. If you have the newest Secret Project ordered, it will ship in Wave 3 in 2025.

As much as I like Brandon Sanderson and Dragonsteel, I can easily admit that they dropped the ball on this one by scheduling shipping to happen so close to their holiday sale (Light Day) and the release of Wind and Truth. With that said, their customer service has always been great (for example, last year during "Light Day", I missed that they had bundled the Secret Project related items for less than it cost to get them individually. After reaching out, they switched me to the bundle and I got a refund of the difference in price from the items I ordered and the full bundle - essentially paying me to get the Mervin plush from "The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England"). I know that this situation sucks, but don't let it sour you on Sanderson or Dragonsteel. They will learn from this and do better next time. At least, that's how I see it.

@ I get it and as a writer he is good but if he actually committed when we get our product would be preferred. I purchased this for a gift for my son and when they said they would ship in the fall but only fulfilled the highest tier. Sorry but they have product but don’t staff to handle demand. It doesn’t excuse sitting on people hard earned money. Hence I will never purchase a special edition of a Sanderson product again. And if he has everyone’s money for over a year with product in stock and not fulfilling orders they he should be held legally responsible.

@@AlynMessinger Hopefully, it's just a delay by the post office. I've had packages get put into the wrong sorting bin at my area's hub then get sent out of state instead of going to my local post office, so had to wait several days for it to make it's way back to my state lol

I think I missed one of those in the video (the first was shown at about 1:56 when I was looking for an index of artwork). But, as I said in the video, I think I've been spoiled by the full color art that Kickstarter Deluxe editions get.

@@anthonyTang-d5w New interior "Photographs"? Do we have the same book? I have no photographs in mine. There are full color end pages (which appear in the video at 1:10 and 1:19). There is the new illustration at the end with the new content, which shows in the video at 1:56. The only other new art, which does not appear in the video, is the "Ithring" symbol (inheritance.fandom.com/wiki/Ithring?file=Ithring.jpg) which appears at the start of the new content section. There are about 15 pages of new content, including the illustration and the Ithring symbol. Beyond that, the rest of the "Deluxe" edition is the same with a cover upgrade, colored page edges, and end pages. The only change made to the formatting/interior of the book itself was a slight condensing of the Addendum section. Compare that to the "Secret Project" books published by Dragonsteel, which not only include full color art that does not appear in the retail edition, but have formatting changes, and have color added. Look at some of the books coming out of Kickstarter (you can look at my videos, or somebody else's), such as Gunmetal Gods; A King's Bargain; The Shadow Watch, etc. which include full color art that does not appear in the standard editions. For only costing about $5 more than the standard edition, this is a nice edition. But, compared to the Deluxe / Premium editions that I mentioned before, this doesn't seem to fit the "Deluxe" or "Premium" description. It's ok if you disagree; we all have our own opinions and I'm simply expressing mine.

I'm not sure which piece of art you are specifically referring to, but I know there are pieces with Wax, Wayne, Steris, MeLaan, and Marasi. One of them may feature Telsin. I'll have to dig out my copy and see if the book specifies who is in which piece of art as it's been a while since I've read this, so don't remember for sure what all happened and who might be in each image beyond the main characters.

Thanks. I've been getting so many books and games via Kickstarter, etc., that I figured I'd have some fun and show them off on TH-cam. :)

From the rule book for the expansion: "The Molten Rock Expansion introduces 2 Status Effects: Scorch and Fortify. Fortify reduces incoming DMG, and Scorch deals DMG to players on affected Hex tiles."

Even though I was able to get both sets originally, I've never liked the fact that they were Kickstarter exclusive versions of the game. I've advocated for updating the sets and releasing them again for years. Hopefully, the amount of people that likely bought these as add-ons will cause Unstable Games to reconsider a non Kickstarter release for these. I'm also disappointed that with this campaign they added something like 63 exclusive cards, including a mechanic that only exists in those exclusive cards. That is literally a full expansion that is exclusive to this campaign and that just feels wrong to me.
