Night On Bare Mountain - Synths Go Classical
It's Mussorgksy's Night On Bare Mountain, but played by an army of MIDI synths.
Easy reviews say 'it sounds terrifying, but I'm going to listen again anyway'.
Synths built in Native Instruments Reaktor Blocks.

It reminds me to the blue lobster song 🔵🦞
Wendy Carlos would be proud!
thank you!
Tempos are awesome...
Juicy
For a minute there, I was playing Dark Castle
A tad on the fast side, in parts,I fear.
This is criminally underrated. I absolutely love this, amazing work!
i like this so much 🥰
@1:38 wrong chord, horribly out of tune. And the entire piece sounds very mechanical and programmed. Wendy Carlos could actually _play_ Bach…
I enjoyed this, so here's a request, if you're still on the lookout for more pieces to do: Holst's 1st Suite in E-flat Major. This is normally played by band, and to be honest I have virtually *never* heard it done well - it's too often muddy and washed out. There's one 8-bit version I know of, and the crispness of the delicate passages and chord changes made it much better in my opinion. I think a version in this style would be excellent.
just like the simple but effective graphics just right , would really be amazing as a sphere
Супер 👑 божественная музыка небес для души ❤❤❤❤❤😎 😍 🤩 😋
Animation should be a sphere not a circle.
Can you tell me what progam did you use to make this?
Absolutely. I used Logic Pro to program all the midi and create the audio, and then Adobe After Effects to create the visuals.
An interesting take on the classic concept of switched-on Bach.
J.S.Bach - The G.O.A.T
Great work! You've already picked my favorite pieces (Vivaldis Winter and Bachs Toccata and Fugue). In case you're looking for other pieces: I would love to hear Chopins Fantaisie-Impromptu in that style.
I like it too! A lot!

Can I get the transcript? I'm Tryna play this.
It took me a while to find the files. It was created in piano roll, so might be a bit sketchy in terms of sheet music, but I’ve managed to export a pdf if you’d still like it.
I actually used ai to convert it to a transcript. Thanks though. Can you make more music like this? If you need ideas I gottem
I’m always up for making more. If there’s particular pieces you think would be good, let me know!
i love this
Nice.... shades of 'Switched on Bach'
this LITERALLY sounds like a Mario Castle Level OMG 😭😭🤘🤘
Ha, yes. Making classical music sound like 8-bit gives it great old video game vibes.
I'm quite impressed, even though I'm a big fan of pipe organs. I'd like to hear Vidor's toccata for organ on these. :-)
Thanks. Always on the look out for other tunes to do, I’ll give it a look.
Brill…

Звучание оригинальное...! Александр Одессит
Brilliant! This makes the synthesizer sound like the instrument for which the work was written!
……reminds of film I first heard this music as a little kid, ‘Fantasia’………
This is FANTASTIC! Thanks!
This is lovely. I really like how the volume and intensity ramps up gradually.
Thanks! I love the effect you get by bringing up the filter cutoff and the wave shape.
I Love this stuff 😂
Glad you like the weird blend of classical and something semi-16-bit.
0:00 - Movement I 8:00 - Movement II 18:11 - Movement III 23:10 - Movement IV
Love your work!
Brilliant, well done! Sounds like this fits in a old pixelated video game.
I Love It. Thanks
This is exactly what I was looking for! Great job bro good sounds
Very good video . I have a question, I would like to know if I could use the Minilogue XD module as a stand alone instrument (synthesizer), to be able to do the same as the keyboard version (obviously limited when playing) but it could be played a sequence and at the same time in keyboard mode ?
Thanks. Testing this out, I can have it playing a sequence, and then also play notes in over the top using the keyboard buttons, or external midi keyboard. However, you’re limited to the volumes, mix and cutoff of the different oscillators being the same for the sequence that is playing and also the live notes you are playing.
Beautiful !
This is awesome!
Thanks!
Agreed!
pretty good
This Beethoven guy is not bad; if he tries hard maybe he can become a professional composer one day.
Gorgeous tones & textures... awesome work on this Hexi !
Thanks! Love those gently shifting cutoffs for notes.
Reminds me a bit of the music for the original Zelda game, like maybe if Link were exploring a really classy dungeon. Love it!
Thanks! It’s definitely got some of those 8-bit feels to it.
Brilliant work on this Hexi !
Thanks!
so cool! how did you do the graphics?
Thanks! The graphics were made in Adobe After Effects, using the audio spectrum plugins.

Impresive!
Very good!
