Manali-Leh Bikepacking set up
This video describes the bike setup of my bikepacking trip from Manali, Himachal Pradesh to Leh, Ladakh that took me 11 days to complete. This is a 2014 model Specialized Rockhopper 29er mountain bike. I upgraded this bike into a 1 x 11 drivetrain along with a Rockshox front suspension for the MTB Himalaya 9 days stage race back in 2018. My bike has 29 inch wheels and the frame size is 15.5 inches. It worked incredibly well for the entire trip as I did not even have a single puncture or any other mechanical issues. Initially, I had thought the hydraulic disk brakes would cause issues due to the high elevation on this trip. But, they stayed intact without any issues even at altitudes above 4700 meters.

Well narrated brother ! Felt like a VR tour✌🏻
Hey congratulation on launching your channel! I keep saying I will do one too so at least you have started. Can I make a few constructive points? I mean only the most success for you. 1. you have to be a very brave cyclist to ride were you do!!! I have ridden in India but in much more pleasant roads than this. That being said, I don't think the actual RIDING is of much interest, except for sometimes how crazy it looks to us westerners who like to stay away from traffic! So 12 minutes of fast motion video is not going to attract too many. 2. You live in INDIA for goodness sakes! Each video should be a STORY! Tell us A STORY about the temple or site you go to and it's history, etc. Of course, you can go by bike and that is interesting. Good luck with it.
Seems untouched. I love to explore such places. Indeed "incredible silence" 😀
It would be a good place for bird watching...
If you made it like a presentation show, the impact will be way higher and u can use picts to good effect...just a suggestion..
Thanks for your suggestion...😊 keep supporting the channel 🙏🏼
The way of explanation is really very gud
Thanks....We have another video coming up on bike comparison....😊
