David Austin white roses: Tranquility, Desdemona, and Claire Austin Among these there white roses, Tranquility performs the best in the heat of California. Claire Austin is the most fragile rose, but its pale lemon buds and cupped cream white petals stole my heart. Desdemona is cute with a pinkish hue.

Hi Annie, my Clair austin is looking sad with leaves furl inward and looking droopy. Any suggestion? I live in California and heat did not help despite the fact that its roots are in half shade next to a fence. What have you done for your CA to keep it alive from the heat etc?

I have this too after watching this. Also in California but it not really growing .
It's very hot where I live (Northern California), so it only looks good in spring and fall. I will update how it looks in this year video. I'm busy with work so don't have time to edit and upload the video yet.

Which one is your favorite?
I love Claire Austin's cupped buds but it's so fragile. Desdemona is cute with the pinkish hue. Tranquillity is the most prolific. If I have to choose only one white rose, I will choose Tranquillity.

Beautiful! I just planted both as bare root roses a few weeks ago. I hope mine are as beautiful as yours. I can't wait to see the blooms. I have some morning sun but afternoon shade where they are but I still hope they do well. ❤
I'm in zone 9b and it gets very hot in the summer. Lady of Shallot does better in heat than Golden Celebration. Thank you for watching my video.

I bought this as bareroot rose last month this year & planted it.. takes couple of months to grew a bit & gives blooms ..is very beautiful & poplar rose as i see in YT thats why i end up bought it , cant wait😘

How beautiful! do you need to spray against fungal diseases?
I only spray with organic neem oil.
How is the repeat on this rose?
Its repeat is not as good as other DA roses. I only got 1 flush in spring and 1 flush in fall. The summer in my zone 9b is very hot, so it doesn’t do well in summer.
Mine does very well in NJ but the black spot is awful. I can't get ahead of it and may have to remove the plant.
Does it repeat well inspite of the blackspot? I'm one state over in NY and we have similar rainy humid conditions as Jersey.
