If you really want to read a book on indian english literature then their is a book available in market as well as on online platform like amazon and filipkart named as A SIMPLE BOOK ON INDIAN ENGLISH LITERATURE by Ashok Kumar Jain and dr. Manav Bhardwaj. The publisher has recently published it's 2nd revised edition which contain colonial, postcolonial, dalit, diasporic & indian aesthetics.

Literally sir, owing not to know, i hadn't taken english literature subject instead of english language from B.A. first year, due to which i couldn't have got basic knowledge from english literature, having completed b.a. graduate degree; it was regretted me not to have got basic knowledge from english literature,after that i did admission in m.a. with english literature subject from Rajasthan University, i'm little bit confused about right decision in order to purchase books. Should i purchase from b.a.first year books or m.a. english literature books? Can sir help me to focus on it😔🥺
