Hello! My wife has received her tatkal passport (reissue). The address mentioned in the passport is of her mother and father who stay alone (her permanent address). However she stays with me post marriage in my address. The police verification happened at her permanent address and when the police got to know that she stays in a different address post marriage, it looks like they have submitted an adverse report. Now there is an SCN status of which is 'Pending for dispatch by PO'. We have an international trip planned in next 5 days. Can we still travel? There are no appointments available at RPO for general enquiry too so the anxiety and ambiguity is taking a toll on us. Kindly guide and help.

Sir mera pera passport renewal hai but adress change aur Spouse name add kiya tha but police wala marriage certificate ke liye mera passport rukgaya

Passport will be dispatched after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report receipt and subject to granting. Mera file jama ho chuka hai sign karane ke liye bol rahe hai ki mai aapka location pe visit karunga to mai sign karunga 2 ya 3 bar bank ja chuka koi response nhi mila hame 😢

For my case, it was showing as Police verification report is under review and it was under 5 months. Than I took appointment and upon visiting first person told policy issue and passed to next person. There he did some check and said all ok. After it’s 2 months and status changed showing passport is under review. What does policy mean? Would I again visit RPO
