1985 Donegal GAA NFL Donegal V Longford 5-12-1985
Played at McCumhaill Park, Ballybofey Donegal had been defeated in Croke Park the previous Sunday in the NFL and Longford also were defeated by Mayo. Longford beat Dublin and Galway in their previous league games. In wet and windy conditions it made play difficult and Donegal featured Bosco Gallagher in goals who had an outstanding the previous Sunday in Croke Park.
