My first class. Landed on it searching for a 30 min kickboxing heavy bag workout. STOKED on this workout! Def challenging and a full body burn. I’ve been training martial arts for about 6 years now. This was legit and a burner. Gonna share with my fight family adj be back for another kick ass workout when I can’t get in to the gym to train. 💦👊🥊

slow down on your squat just a little bit don't bounce your knees at the bottom try a more controlled ascent and descent it's harder but it's effective and safer on the knees

hitting a soft bag with gloves with pads underneath, those bags are so soft you could use bare hands.
You could…but why? Gloves offer weight and protection while conditioning. You’ll have them on if you enter a boxing ring so why not use them?

Great workout
Going a little too fast. Im a beginner. Slow it down and get closer to the camera. I have to keep rewinding it to catch what you did.
I’ve done over 20+ classes with each just as grueling as the other no matter who the coach is. Every time I finish am drenched with sweat and I feel Ike I’ve accomplished something. However, I wonder why aren’t knees, block and elbows added to the workouts? I don’t think that there is anything wrong with the workouts as they are, but I thought kickboxing also incorporates block, knees and elbows.
Hi Kerry, Good question and one we get asked a lot. We've been doing this for over 10 years and have tried everything. We found that this structure with these techniques give the best heavy bag workout like you described above. Blocks, knees and elbows are difficult to throw on the heavy bag and tend to slow things down too much. We found those technique work best in a focus mitts class but that requires a partner and some extra training to be effective.
Regardless of who’s the coach I haven’t did one session that ended without me being drenched in sweat. I really enjoy it bc when I’m done I feel like I accomplished something.
