Subaru Saved Me When Having A Gran Mal Seizure
มุมมอง 1112 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Dear Subaru, I was on my way home on Friday, April 8, 2024, the day of the eclipse. It was a fairly uneventful day until it wasn’t. I had a normal working day and was heading home on the 405 freeway, a popular route in this area. It was 4:30 PM, prime traffic time in Southern California. I never anticipated my routine drive turning into a critical test of my car’s safety technology. Here is wha...

Thank goodness, they have so much to pull information from. Instagram, Tiktok, TH-cam, Podcast's. We had the news. 57 channels and nothing on! You're so young!!!! You got this!!!! So proud of you for moving on and going in the direction your heart leads you!!!!Congratulations! So nice to meet you and I hope you find other channels that help this journey. If you find channels that can help please share to help our community thrive and heal! Thank you for your comment. You help me heal.

      As I grow I can see good and bad in almost everything now. Religion will never be my solace again. God, nope! I love people and people are inherently good and I am growing to find that I like good deeds and acts of service and that can be done without GOD mucking it up. I can LOVE everyone, that gives my heart the freedom to accept my LGBT+ community. Wow, the love there is amazing. So yeah I understand, RELIGION is corrupt. People can do bad things with GOD's blessing. Sad.

    They aren’t the friends. They are the acquaintances lol I’m sorry that you guys went through that. It’s been a very different experience for me up in Canada, multiculturalism has been in our roots since the founding of our country. In fact, we were actually a safe haven for the slaves. But growing up in the organization, I was just so used to seeing so many different ethnicities all the time in the congregation and there really was no segregation. It’s only been lately with newcomers, the latest wave of immigration in the last five years do I notice that more Africans tend to keep to themselves in the congregation. I think they bring that sense of segregation with them from their different countries like Ghana, etc.. But Canadá has been very open arms for the most part. The only thing you would really find here is the stereotypes about the native Indians because they would give themselves a bad rap by always being drunk doing drugs, etc. but still you don’t stereotype people that’s not right. Even if they have given you reason to stereotype them. There are always exceptions.

    Listen, i am an "inactive italian brother"and i can tell you that, though the perception of it leans on the racial aspect, it takes just to be a little different than the group in your looks, thought pattern, opinions social class and so on to experience the same kind of segregation. WHAT,,, IS THE ISSUE. , WITH JWS? OR THE BIBLE ITS SELF? YOU SAID THE BIBLE DIDNT SET THE BAR HIGH ENOUGH IN RESISTING SLAVERY ETC. I USED TO AGREE WITH MUCH OF WHAT YOU SAY? NOW, I REALIZE THAT THE BIBLE IS NOT GODS ATTEMP TO REFORM SATANS STSYEM. HATE TO SAY IT, BUT TO A DEGREE WE CANT CHANGE SATANS SYSTEMS AS MERE HUMANS. THATS WHAT THE KINGDOM IS CENTRAL THEME OF BIBLE , BUT ONLY JW POINT THIS OUT. THE KINGDOM TO REPLACE SATAN AND HIS RULERSHIP WITH JESUS KINGDOM AND RULERSHIP ITS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT BELUEVING, SOMETIMES ITS ABOUT ENDURING, ENDURING TO THE END OF SATANS SYSTEM. I APPRECIATE YOUR DESIRE FOR IMPROVEMENT, JUST BE PATIENT FOR NOW.

  • @randallwittman2720
    @randallwittman2720 หลายเดือนก่อน

    AS ALWAYS, EVERY PERSON BRINGS THEIR PREVIOUS BEHAVIOR and artitudes of a person is brought into to congregation. Part of being human.. HOWEVER, HOWEVER, so is our precption of how we are treated. Step back ,,, just for a moment, and ask yourself, how much of this is their behavior,, AND HOW MUCH IS MY BEHAVIOR / PRECEPTION. THINK FOR A MOMENT, IN SOME PARTS OF THE WORLD A WEALTHY WHITE BAPTIST CHURCH IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM A POOR BLACK CHURCH. YET NO INTERACTION OCCURES! All in all, JWS do a much better job of maintaining Biblical standards than many others !

    • @inairby4freedom
      @inairby4freedom หลายเดือนก่อน

      48 years of experience w JW’s I’ve seen racial injustice, suicides, child molest, cover-up all within my family. Friends who are Black who have been treated with absolute disdain and tell me with tears how hurt they feel. Elders who have molested kids and remain elders for decades and nothing happens to them they DO NOT GET removed but sent to a different congregation. Circuit overseers that abuse women verbally who’ve already been physically abused by their husbands. Elders that covered up rape for monetary gain and the blame rape victim! For moral standards the Bible is not a high bar. It’s a book that does not once condemn slavery in fact it tells Christian’s how to treat their slaves and tells slaves how to treat their masters . it describes a man who murders his best friend who got his wife pregnant “as a man after God’s own heart”. So your perspective is a classic example of knowing just enough about a subject to think your right but not enough about that subject to know your wrong.

      My great grandmother lived in Los Angeles. Her interest in the JW’s I think was because of the thought that life would be peaceful and she could get her parents back. She could put the pieces of her shattered life together. Meet them and start over. So sad her life was difficult and she did not like change. She never learned the English language and stayed uneducated because of that. She was a tough cookie and hard. She favored the her children that were lighter skinned. Sad for my grandmother who took care of her till she died. She was not a kind person. My grandmother suffered from the turmoil that favoritism caused amongst her and her siblings. They all never got along. Sad 😔

    OK. Here's one in agreement with the US not taking care of it's citizens: Chronic Lyme. Try to find a doc that understands it. I did, and they are more than 2000 miles away. When submitting claims they say I went to the wrong doctor for the wrong thing. Then read Bitten. Also, the bills will not stop, it's chronic. Ins pays for lab draws (2 grand every 6ish months), and drugs from the regular pharmacy. The ones that have to be compounded they pay 60% of the raw materials which is 3 bucks of a 60 dollar script. They laugh at the herbals and supps I need to keep going, and not become malnourished. But in EU, some of these things I get to support life are illegal and visa versa.

      I met a military mom and she was a nurse, she explained how devastating Lyme disease is. Yes, going and getting a doctor can be trial-some. I don’t have one yet….I went through a senior magazine,”SENIOR” I still can’t believe I’m getting to the senior stages! I found the Epilepsy Network of Orange 🍊 County. So finding resources helps. No JW can say they have that in their Jehovah’s Witness Organization. Inside people get taken care of if they aren’t an expense. I’m just glad I’m able to not feel guilty for being challenged. I can concentrate on my healing ❤️‍🩹 and the ability to do that for myself and help others along the way. Hugs! Thank you for sharing your challenges too. It’s a way we know we are cared for and loved even in this expanding world where we all can feel so lost. Money comes and money goes. Bills will always be there along with mail. I’m all for the billionaires to pay their share of taxes. Along with other creative ways to keep medical expenses down for everyone.

    Subaru's safety record is fabulous. We know more than one family that is cultishly loyal to Volvos... however, when we asked our insurance agent about Volvo's she said they have the lowest rating for safety and Subaru has the highest. I said Volvo's seemed to invent seatbelts and call it a day (century), and she agreed. A Subaru saved my therapist's life years ago; they drive a Toyota now tho 🤷🏻‍♀. So glad everyone is okay. I think he was there lifting weights and someone saw him slumped over and they got him help. The fire department told the ER he had a stroke , but for some reason they didn’t take it seriously so moved slowly and he had a second stroke at the hospital. @@inairby4freedom He made it through. He got out of the hospital right as the pandemic was happening. He had bad aphasia and couldn’t speak for months though . Due to the lockdowns he was unable to get therapy in person right away, which set him back on his recovery. By that summer though he was throwing up in a field and looked pale . Took him to the hospital and they came outside the ER to tell us he had internal bleeding from his blood thinners and what turned out to be a large tumor in his colon . He never tried to research his former JW briefs and rejected blood. He managed to survive that. He was able to get surgery to remove his tumor when his blood count was back up and then received chemotherapy. He was doing really well after treatment then decided he wanted to get surgery on his varicose veins in his legs . I warned him that it was risky imo to get that surgery because he won’t take blood and he has to be off blood thinners to get surgeries which put him at risk of blood clots and strokes . Well after the surgery he came back and had an area that was bleeding so they wrapped it more and he was basically bed bound and not on his blood thinners yet . He had a routine scan for his cancer that he still went to . They discovered he had a pulmonary embolism. So they went ahead and gave him stronger blood thinners . He seems to get lucky even when it appears he is unlucky if that makes sense . I’m glad you are doing well. One day at a time. 💕

    Being rigid in our life is not a quality. I think the more radical you are in a movement, the more rigid you become. Rigidity goes hand in hand with a lack of perspective on oneself and also with an inferiority complex which gradually transforms into a superiority complex.

      Whatever helps people get through the painful hurdles that come with freedom of a cult it needs to be worked through if believing for them means that they get comfort and peace of mind then I feel it wrong to take that away. I don’t believe in a God, any God. I still did when I got out took me 9 months after I left. What a waste of my 9 months still believing in a narcissistic God. Ugh 😩

    Thank you for the videos...I loved your point about thinking if it were another religion. They acknowledge other religions and slam them but hide what goes on in the JW. So sorry for the pain you and you family have had to endure.

    Is there rattle snakes in the bush there?

    • @inairby4freedom
      @inairby4freedom 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Big time, 🐍 six feet long was the last one I saw. Depending on the time of year they can be about two to three inches around to 5 inches around. Hibernating in the winter and coming out in the spring. They stay away from the hikers but while biking in the summer time there have been at least twice where my husband couldn’t stop and ran over a snake or two. I feel sorry for the snake 🐍. Bad timing and my husband couldn’t stop mid ride, he was going to fast. Following behind I generally see it all and wonder who’s going to take the hit. My husband or the rattlesnake. I white knuckle it! I haven’t ran onto one yet. It’s the desert and we are taking more and more of their home. 🐍🐍🐍🕷️🕷️🕷️🌵🌵🌵🙃🙃🙃🚵‍♀️🚵

    When I ask JWs how to recognize true Christians, they talk to me about preaching, the name of God, morality, neutrality, unity... but they don't even think of say LOVE first. It's sad. There is only one thing that can characterize true Christians and it is Jesus himself who gives us this criterion in John 13:35 "By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have 'love for each other.' What characterizes true Christians is love of neighbor and my 30 years spent with the JW have proven to me that this was not the case with them. Everything is conditioned, even love. I think that unconditional love pulverizes conditioned love. There is nothing sadder than having conditioned love for your child.
