I reckon the reason why its half the price of the likes of Sandisk etc, is quality control and lack of on disk software, that none of is need anyway. If you buy, you take the risk of getting a dud in perhaps 1 to 3% of shipping units. So the answer is to buy and test and return if you get a bad one. Once it works, it should be as reliable as any of the more expensive brands that are tested and perhaps go through a more refined error tracing system during manufacturing. I ordered a 250G unit and I will test the shit out of it before I put it into service. I will report back in 6/12 months if it proves to be stable or not.

@@J0kerHecz yes i did, its awesome, all the speed checks checked out. Running it on a M1 Macbook Pro, no issues. Works on wives Windows machine just as good. Its tiny, has a nice case with it and looks really pro.
