Thank you for tuning in :)
Nah, healthy relationships aren’t real.
No kidding. Now I constantly second guess myself because he had me so conditioned. Towards the end of that toxic relationship I almost felt like maybe his crazy is rubbing off on me. I started thinking maybe he's right. Then I remembered he's an insecure jackass and I deserve WAY BETTER. 🖤 we broke up and got back together 3x. He didn't leave me alone until I threatened his livelihood and freedom. After that, not a peep! 😂
wow I'm so sorry you went through that! I'm glad you are out and he finally left you alone lol
@@beautymarkspodcast thank you. Me too! 😂
Relatable

Sadly true. It's difficult, though.
This was AMAZING!!!
thank you for tuning it! such insightful takeaways.
Can u have a trauma bond with someone who doesn’t have feelings? Or any sense of emotional maturity
That's exactly how my person is too.🎯 Dead inside.
But what if they say they respect your no but then they keep on asking later again??
reinstating your boundary. we cannot control what others do, but we can control the limits and what we do when they disrespect our boundaries.
A mature person... It works both ways.
Good comment!!
Found you on tik tok this is relatable to what I’m going through this right now 😟 never realized I’m in a trauma bond relationship
i'm so sorry you're experiencing this :( it is very painful but awareness is key and i hope through every episode you feel hopeful that it is possible to end the cycle
This is a Beautiful podcast.and very relatable even for a guy.

Beautiful 😍
Thank you!
It’s so true, when going through a divorce/breakup its like a death in your life, but the person is still alive and walking around. So you don’t truly get to mourn the situation. After a five-year relationship, it took me at least three years and Jesus to truly get over it. 54:04
Thank you for tuning in and sharing your experience. Glad you were able to heal!
why not just use the reason its called gaslighting? A guy turns down the gas lights in his hous gradually, but tells his wife that they are still the same, distorting her view on reality.
The sky? You mean the oxygen and particles between the earth’s crust and its atmosphere? It’s not blue. Our perception of it makes it appear blue because our eyes see blue easiest. It’s actually a rainbow all the time. Just not enough water for you to see it. 😊
So, are Flat Earthers deliberately gaslighting everyone, or are they just truly delusional?
It’s lying to the point where they’re trying to get you to believe the lie
This guy is not actually blue you should do a little research
When a persons attempts to DESCREDIT you by destroying your self worth with negative and/or mental and verbalizations with their untruth.
guys... the example she gives is supposed to be obvious, one of the aspects of gaslighting is that usually it's too intricate to pinpoint and tell people how it's happening. her using an obvious example is to show that ultimately it's just lying to people until they feel crazy about it. for the sake of awareness, people that haven't experienced it need to be told simply that it's just lying about things in hopes that you cave and believe it.
The sky ain't blue honey, it's purple.
Oh my God people that’s her analogy or whatever it’s called and it’s a simple way to understand what gaslighting is it’s nothing to do with what fucking color of the sky is. It has to deal with the lying even know there’s proof, and that you’re caught and you still continue to lie about it and try to make the other person feel crazy… that’s literally what gaslighting is like. When you try to tell somebody hate you cheated on me. Here’s proof they say oh no that’s not me in the video. Oh no that girl just fell on me you’re crazy we weren’t doing anything at all.
Exactly!
Yup so true
This sky is not actually blue😂
I found in my life experience that most men know right away if they want to be in a relationship with you. If they keep you in the dark, it means that you were just a convenience for them until their right one shows up.
Women's opinions... 😂
According to NASA, "Blue light is scattered more than the other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time."
Please don't believe Nasa
And why Blue Jays are blue without any pigmentation.
This is not gaslighting at all. Real gaslighting is subtle and often malicious. You literally alter a person's memories and perception of reality. Just saying 'the sky is green' does nothing, because you can look outside and see the sky is not green (unless it is at that moment for some weird reason). But when someone truly gaslights you, you may not be able to pierce the deception AT ALL. You will believe you said things you didn't say or performed actions that you did not do and didn't even happen and that past events and facts have been rewritten in your own mind.
people can totally be convinced that the sky is green. it's possible to alter someone's reality to that point, to where the words themselves are wrong. any justification to further the lie will be used, to the foundation of everything you understand. the fact that you can go and still look at the blue sky doesn't matter anymore, because you now just think the word for the sky should be green. if the gaslighter has their sights set on even the most obvious things, it doesn't matter to them, they will try.
Wtf did I just listen to 😂 Could have chosen a much better example because now you are starting make an argument with science
People are really willing to suffer in a relationship rather, then face the fact that it has already ended… what I learned in my time is let go and let time heal.but you don’t know that until you heal 😅
It takes a lot to be obedient to Christ and share such a raw testimony! I’m so proud of you Jessica.
conversation is very well
So many elements of your story parallel mine, and your experience down to your BFs bewildering behavior and refusal to be with your family. My trip with my BF was terrible. He was so cold and distant. I'm in a week of our break-up and feel like the whole thing has been a mirage and a mind-bend.
im so sorry you experienced that :( its valid how you feel and very normal the withdraws after the breakup, keep going and im cheering you on in this healing, it gets better i promise!
Wow this was so relatable! Thank you 😊
Im sorry you experienced this, but glad you feel like youre not alone! thank you for tuning in. Part 2 is up this week.
Might as well subscribe cause I really wanna hear the next episode of the beauty of starting over!
Thank you for listening! Part 2 this upcoming week 🙏🏼
As an aroace… why would you ever want such a specific thing. When it’s so obviously luck based
Me and my Dad
I’m sorry 😢
@@beautymarkspodcast Thanks. I’ve been no contact ( unless utterly required. As in, some one has to be in the hospital or near death) for.. 14 years. I was even in a coma and when people were just TALKING about him my heart rate went so high that the nurse told them to change the subject. He didn’t want me when I was alive, he doesn’t get me dead or nearly there to. I’m a Daddy’s girl at heart. I am to the point now that I can smile at the good times and tell my kids about fun stuff we did when I was little. But, I look at it as my Dad died and some psycho took over his body. It sucks. I know he’s out there and even before we went no contact he still didn’t choose me. My little brother was 11 when my Dad left. I was 21. He is 37 now and still won’t have kids because he doesn’t want to accidentally be a bad Dad. He wouldn’t be. He would be amazing because he knows what it is to not have a Dad. So he would be everything he missed out on.
