How Entrepreneur Julie Took Charge Over Her Health, Even With A Demanding Business
How Entrepreneur Julie Took Charge Over Her Health, Even With A Demanding Business
My client Julie Trombley had been running a successful business... but at the expense of her own health.
She often skipped lunch breaks, ate convenient snacks whenever she could, and then treated herself to pizza at night because she was too exhausted to cook.
In this video, you'll learn how Julie took charge over her health AND business, and the shifts she made to help her finally start prioritizing her self-care, take consistent lunch breaks, expand her business without over-working, and make intentional decisions around food.

    Finally the first person to keep it real about how long it actually takes to instant pot frozen chicken. Everyone said 15-18 mins. I open it and they’re not close to done! Time to rebuild pressure and go with what my gut was telling me

    The actual pressure time was 2 minutes. He started at 45 and it went down to 43. Not sure what the whole phone timer thing was about. Think I will stick with my cast iron.

    I have the most wonderful Quick Pot pressure cooker but i don't believe they exist any longer. It's really user friendly, and i dread the day it goes bad! If you get lucky enough to find one brand new, though l, try it out!

    Why did you not cut the cooked steak open to see how appealing it might be. I think you got the timing completely messed up for Instant Pot cooking.

    Instead of water just cook it in the butter, the water extracts the flavor from the meat. Turned out like a bland shoe on my end. 1.5min each side & 2minutes on pressure cook in the instant pot. Good texture.

    “Strong woman” is like saying “man woman” strength and femininity negate each other. So contrary to the new world order nonsense they are selling you: “strong” women does NOT equal a strong world - it equals a world without TRUE women and THAT would be a SAD place for sure. Women are being fooled and lied to and Infact are denying the very things that make them women - trying to be men and injuring themselves in the process and sacrificing their own true happiness - we NEED women and femininity - not women who have lost all sense of womanhood and pretend they can be men and be better at it 😂 this is pure insanity - our differences are beautiful and intensional.

    You don’t have to time it on your phone. When it displays the previous used minutes, use the minus sign to lower that down to 5. The machine will beep when the 5 minutes are up.

    Butt means the thicker end of something. The shoulder has 2 parts, the shoulder and the butt. I believe the butt part is the top part of the shoulder.

    I once went out to dinner with my sister after an incredibly upsetting moving situation. When I tell you I had a Ratatouille moment that literally made me forget all my problems for the rest of the night.. gwow.. I think it was good food + good company though. Not cake, Michelin Guide vegan food complete with our knock off Iron Chef judge commentary lol

    • @sugarfreeselfcare
      @sugarfreeselfcare ปีที่แล้ว

      I love having a wonderful dinner with good food and good company! They definitely help you to distract yourself from remembering the things that are upsetting to you in the moment. However, I found that when I often turned to food to feel better and avoid what was making me upset, the same type of situations would still make me upset in the future and I'd constantly need food to distract me and make me feel better again. When I realized WHY I was feeling upset and looked at the root problem, I focused on solving that and didn't actually need to eat to feel better anymore. There's so much freedom in that.

  • @LeonardoMartinez-gf6mz

    It cannot eliminate those emotions but at least it gets you a smile haha

    • @sugarfreeselfcare
      @sugarfreeselfcare ปีที่แล้ว

      This is true! It is known that eating certain foods can release dopamine and serotonin, which are "feel good" hormones in your body. Unfortunately, this effect is only temporary and not long lasting. This is why it is so helpful to learn how to cope with the emotion itself without needing to eat to feel better :) At least if you're wanting long-term wellbeing that isn't dependent on eating something that has long-term consequences.

      I appreciate your viewpoint! And I can see what you're saying... especially if it turns into narcissism or having a huge ego and not caring for others' needs. But that is not the context I'm implying in this video. Way too many times, the women I work with have spent their entire LIVES criticizing and judging themselves, which often causes them to compromise their own wellbeing. I believe in having a healthy self-esteem where you CAN be the most important person to yourself where you're not sacrificing your health to provide for others... Which will help you show up for your loved ones and society even better. That is my perspective.
