Hey all! Here's a sneakpeek at "Truancy" our debut album for 'Peace Thieves'! Great song but i gotta say, I love the contrast present in the title, Second chance (version 6). Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it kinda makes me think of a time traveller stuck in a paradox constantly going back in time to fix their past mistakes only to keep getting it wrong every time. Constantly trying for a "second time", even though they've tried 6 times already. If there were to be a movie revolving around this concept, this music would go hard as the main track💯

How did you get into music?
I had a class in high school called recording arts run by our band teacher. I originally took it for the irony of a Deaf student being in a sound based class but I jinxed myself and fell in love with the DAW we were using, (Studio One 5), and I bought it for my own home computer. Been a hobby tinkering with samples and MIDI and I ended up uploading it on Spotify and other platforms around the height of COVID. I don't expect to go anywhere with it if I'm being honest but I love doing it so I don't stop!
@@seamishmusic what is it you like about your DAW / Music? Are you able to tell if something sounds good?
@@dryeraseboredom3645 it's a bit hard to tell if it all sounds good so I have a buddy who helps me out by telling me, "that 2nd bar sounds off here's what you can do to change it" kinda thing. He's a big help
