Yes they grieve their mates but did you know that population control is very important. Take the Snow Goose or “Light Goose” for instance they almost became extinct years ago and today are so overpopulated they are killing each other off and destroying the breeding grounds of other animals that the population is not stable on. Do some research and watch videos of geese with the avian flu it’s terrible and sad to watch. I’ve always wondered if people think cattle or poultry pass away from old age before they are processed, hay, grass, etc everything lives. Vegans, vegetarians etc none are not eating non living beings nothing in this world is. I do appreciate your comment. Also something to consider geese can destroy the ph levels of a pond quickly harming fish. It all matters and is part of life.
