Hemi Hideout
www.hemihideout.com/
The Hemi Hideout is a direct reflection of a lifelong dream fulfilled by owner John Hovas. It all started at age 16, with his love for the Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars of the 1960's and early 70's. Today, the venue is filled with 24 of the most desirable Mopars on earth, Icons from an era of Rock'n'Roll. Over 600 vintage porcelain and neon signs, all from days gone by, that date back as far as the early 1900's. Also featured in the venue, are many various pieces of memorabilia, antique tractors and motorcycles, all restored to their original factory glory.
“Never stop chasing a Dream”
-John Hovas
This Texas sized mancave, is complete with a 1950's style diner, soda fountain and state of the art kitchen. There is a beautifully appointed , large yet cozy, living area with a grand fireplace. There are six large screen TV's, strategically located throughout the facility, both inside and outdoors to enjoy. Throughout the building there is a current line array sound system, second to none, complete with staging for live entertainment. Outside there is a large outdoor Bar-B-Que pavilion, complete with a western style bar and an outdoor fireplace.

    I was blessed to be able to visit my grandparents 4 times a year on that Island in 1970’s. Before hurricane Fredrick you could walk the beach from the sea lab where my grandfather worked and lived all the way to the other end of the Island .you can not do that now due to mult changes to the shoreline but I have wonderful memories.

    That's what's called a dead river swamps. It was formed when the Pearl Rifer changed course from sediment deposits and the water was basically trapped there. One of the coolest stops on The Trace

    You asked about the posts along the trail that were white with 4 black stripes on them. You’ll notice from top to bottom the stripes were wide, wide, narrow then wide again. Pay attention the next time you hear a train whistle over a crossing. They whistle long, long, short, long. That is Morse code for the letter “Q”. The is code for The Queen, who of course always has the right of way!! Great video and hope that answers your question. Thanks.

  • @steveeb9567

    I always thought that was an easy way for someone to break in. There must be a roof vent that is a little more 'secure'.

    • @storiesacrossamerica
      @storiesacrossamerica ปีที่แล้ว

      First, thanks for watching our videos, we appreciate it very much. There is not a secure RV made. What you see on the video is the easy part. What you did not see was the owner of said RV cutting the sealant and removing a large amount of screws before he could remove the vent. Not the most efficient way to break-in. In reality if a thief wanted in, they would just take a window just like a regular home.

      Sorry it took me so long to reply. Yes the Starlink is a great piece of the puzzle. We have an old plan which is "residential with portability". Cant get that anymore. No throttling and we have the same priority as a sticks and bricks location.
