Finally got up this page as I've found the TH-cam community of Gardeners to be the greatest resources for my "growing" passion, and love to connect with others who are spreading the movement of organic home gardening and sustainability. I know the Ladybug is just eating and living, but I love the feeling that this bug is defending the garden. It doesn't get more natural than this. Of course they did nothing to protect my tomatoes from deer..lol..

There's nothing quite like digging into the compost pile left over from last fall. First year I'm coming at it correct by sifting it. Got about 80 lbs of garden gold!

The string came off your line trimmer when you used it in a barrel on leaves? I thought the problem would be the string cutting through the sides of the barrel. My neighbor's line trimmer really did a number on their vinyl siding. Perhaps it's just the vinyl that can't take that kind of use. It's been a long time sinse you made a video, are you giving up on that?
Nice setup, you have a lot going on. I like the vertical sweet potatoes!
Great compost system... I have similar setup with 2 piles, but those wood pallets would be so much better than mine. Where in NJ are you?

I had a huge Vine bore problem as well this year I was able to cut them out with a knife and bury the damage seems to have worked. Keep up with the updates I wouldn't mind

I just picked up a chipper/vac myself. Should be a good year for compost.
+travvy01 Awesome. I'm going to do a video on the chipper and shredder in the fall (Harbor Freight Chicago Electric Chipper and Worx Trivac Leaf Vacuum) I needed both as the chipper isn't very time efficient for leaves. Best of luck!
