Nescafe Gold Blend advert shown on RTE advert breaks in Ireland & worldwide in 1991.
Like to move from previous to current century.
Friday night, came home from the barracks, left the station, enterred the café and put money in the juke box to hear the Hollies. These are memories...
And Edgar killed himself 3 years later.
Hey, a new one, great!
I got into this program around 1986. This must’ve been early in the season as Jim Peck’s closing monologue was somewhat different. A good find though.
Great sport classic advert.

Could you load the full advert please?
There's a longer ad for Comfort here: th-cam.com/video/stbQ_MZylIE/w-d-xo.html
This is the best video quality of the Pan's People doing this performance. Oddly enough however the video quality of the rest of the show sucks.
Good job! I was one when this came out
Thanks for this, any from around the 8th of February 1997?
Probably somewhere in my collection. I’m still going through hundreds of tapes.
@tvrdbmedia you would be a hero
I used to love watching the 80s version of divorce court I was wondering do you have any more episodes of the show as a request if you do I definitely appreciate it thank you happy New Year and God bless you. Like it better than today's divorce court I was born in 1981 allowed 80s divorce court
This is the only edition I've come across so far in my videotape collection. I'll still going through all my tapes, though, so you never know...

That's not Paul McGann, that's his younger brother Mark.
They do look and sound very similar!
@@tvrdbmedia They do! But it's definitely Mark....
This was before a bourgeois criminal named Robin Nash was allowed to get his grubby hands on TOTP, & declared MUSICIANS (especially SERIOUS ones) to be "undesirables" & that TOTP was "bubble gum fun show" for kids. Enter The Wombles, Gary Glitter, Barry Blue, Alvin Stardust, Bay City Rollers, etc etc.
Shown on RTE advert breaks in Ireland & worldwide too.
Great late 1980's news.
Great classic music shown on RTE advert breaks in Ireland & worldwide too.

i remember seeing The Archies on TOTP and it really annoyed me we couldnt see the full episodes. Sugar Sugar is a song I hate because of that to this day!
A series of them shown on RTE advert breaks in Ireland too at the time.
The reason why they probably showed the schedule for the rest of the evening before Top of the Pops was to line up with BBC 1 broadcast. I think RTE 2 used to do this with all live programmes from the BBC and ITV. There was an upload of RTE 2 joining Noel Edmond’s Late Late Breakfast Show from 1984, the day Prince Harry was born. RTE 2 did the usual programme line up but probably due to BBC 1 probably showing a news flash about the birth, RTE 2 had to apologise for the delay and started showing a film about rowing down a river before joining the show.
Advert was shown on RTE advert breaks in Ireland & worldwide.
Was a series of them ran from Autumn 1993 until Easter 1996.
Will you have a Bisto gravy advert online between now & Christmas.
Yes, I have a Bisto Christmas ad scheduled for later today!
@TVRDb, most excellently done. It is extremely difficult to piece together videos and audios to perfect sync. Commendable work, indeed.
It ran for years on RTE advert breaks in Ireland & worldwide too.
The Archies weren't s a group. It was just one man 👨 🧔 🎉❤
Great science.
Easter Monday.
The Pan's People routine is actually Chicago, I'm A man from Jan 1970, there is a clip of the Archies Sugar Sugar but a cameraman spent way too much time zooming in on an audience dancer and was not used in the programme
I was about 9 when this was shown, I probably watched it with my parents and elder brother. The diversity of music genres at the time was quite impressive! BTW, was this originally broadcast in colour? ...mind you, not all of us had a colour TV at the time.
Colour from 1970 I think, bbc2 from 68
Episode 304 (27th November 1969) was the first colour episode of Top of the Pops. I'll be posting a reconstruction of that soon... ;-)
Shown on RTE advert breaks in Ireland & worldwide in 1992 did you find a Bisto gravy advert yet.
