I almost exclusively wear Hokas now. I owned a pair of Pegasus’ and hated them. Had knee problems. Someone introduced me to the Cliftons and it was game over. I have probably bought over 20 Hokas. Currently have three different color Cliftons in my running rotation. Two pairs of Speedgoats which I highly recommend for hiking. I take my black and white Cliftons on vacation. Thinking of getting the Transport to replace my Adidas Superstars as my casual shoe.

I grew up poor too bro. My hand me downs were from a kid that was 10 years older than me so they were bright neon colors from the 80's, and my shoes didn't even have a brand. I'll never forget buying my first pair of all white Air Force 1's, and my first Timberland Hoodie from Footlocker. You're right, we are very lucky and fortunate to be able to spend money on multiple pairs of shoes. I'm only at 40 or so pairs including slides and boots, 1000 pairs bro, damn! I have been getting pretty picky these days, with the recent price increases I feel like I'm getting ripped off a little you know? Love the content brother.

I'm not the biggest fan of this shoe. Got a pair from Nordstrom Rack and these are literally premium work shoes which isn'ta bad thing. Maybe premium weight lifting shoes. But I would never jog, run, or sprint in these because the upper material has no lockdown and heel slippage. The sole is too heavy so you shift a lot moving since the upper doesn't enclose you foot. Great work shoes, maybe decent training shoes. But these are not good performance shoes imo. (I used to find this kind of humor entertaining when I was younger, but this is quite obnoxious...imo)
