We have been to the Rubicon but just a short stay there it’s a good hotel, but cleanliness,food choice,overall I would have to give it to the Barcelo hope this helps you out, but there is a review of the Rubicon on my channel page if you would like to take a peek thank you for watching 👍

Hi Gilly yeah really good thank you especially after beating Arsenal 😂 hope you are all well. Right now back to the question I would say you need to be on the lower level of the complex (as you will of seen it is split by a main road) now to guarantee the lower level you will need to book a sea view room so cost that in to your budget also ( this is the only way you can guarantee the lower level) and you are also on the outskirts of Costa Teguise so you have a good walk to a beach or the town otherwise it’s a bus or a taxi. Can I ask have you seen my Costa Teguise walk about video I would urge you to watch that it gives you a good idea of the walk and where the hotel is situated please if you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask away 👍

@ hi Ern. Yes I’ve seen that video and other you’ve done in teguise. Seems a big complex this from what I’ve seen and read ! Looking at the all inclusive and it seems that unless we pay extra we will get a room in the upper area. Is that correct ? Also is there restaurants in upper and lower we can use ? Looks a good walk along to the centre so could look into car hire like you did. I’ll look into the room tips on trip advisor for a good room with view. Seen some video with poor side view room overlooking buildings. We would require 3 bed in the room rather than the sofa bed I don’t fancy spending a week on that 😀. Thanks for the reply Ern. Hi Gilly yes you defo need to book sea view room for the lower half, there is a restaurant on the upper level and yes you can eat in any of the restaurants except the Royal Level one's 👍

Open bathrooms are to make the room look bigger and nothing else.

Hi Dale thanks for watching 👍 the wind is more of a warm breeze which is very welcoming to be totally honest without it it could get really uncomfortable as I have experienced days with no breeze and it’s hot. But even in the breeze sun cream is a must don’t let the breeze fool you as it does for many as you will burn. Great resort though Dale and the beach in front of the Elba Sara is well sheltered hope this answers your question thanks for your comment 👍

Have to agree. Family of 4 Sept 2024. Dnning experience especially disappointing. Food looks great on presentation but meat dishes in particular luke warm and some not cooked through. 7:44

Many of the sun loungers don't have umbrella shade. If you want an umbrella cover to your sun lounger it was evident on recent 1 week family stay at the hotel(sept 2024), that even though it's such a big hotel pool area - all of the sun loungers which had umbrellas over them were 'reserved' by hotel guests early, by attaching their towels with large pegs to these particular sun loungers and buggering off to breakfast. Even after many hours you would see loungers reserved with no person's about. (p.s. you can't move the umbrellas from the positions they are in as they are bolt fixed to the floor due to I assume wind issues that were quite high at times. 19:26

@@phil4499 Hi Phil yeah the parasol loungers we snapped up early crazy the lengths some guests go to mate I’d rather have a lay in 😂 But apparently it was announced last week there are to be more parasol’s fitted around the pool areas weather that helps any will remain to be seen thanks for your comment and for watching 👍

Hi Dany yes the sea view rooms do seem to be situated right at the front and I also think you get a larger balcony we were lucky with our side sea view but I also know a lot of the standard superior rooms don’t have a sea view. Hopefully you’re view will be stunning 👍

Hi mate 👍 the view is stunning loads more to come I kept part one to 10mins but watching it, it feels really shot ? However part two is 20 minutes long not sure how long part three will be yet. But it is a wonderful hotel staff really good, food is great I get a bit carried away talking about the roast pork dinner in part two . About the talking first time I have really put myself on the videos, and I do love a bit of feedback, does it work with me on there or should I stick to my old format ? ( point to myself try not to get sun burnt before you film head like a beetroot ) would value your honest opinion on this question mate but as always thank you so much for watching and commenting 👍

Hi Jojo yes you have your main hotel which this video covers, you also have the Royal Level adults only hotel, then you have the Barcelo Castillo Bungalows which have a bar and restaurant right on the marina. Now if you are staying in the Royal Level hotel you can access all areas of each facility, if you are staying in the Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar you can not access the Royal Level, but if you are all inclusive you can use your all inclusive band down at the marina bar and restaurant, if you are half board you can still use them as the ones down the marina are open to the public but you would have to pay. Hi we are currently in Playa Blanca and it is 20 degrees through the night and hovering between 25-26 degrees through the day really lovely and the temperature remains roughly the same for the period you are looking for 👍 thank you for watching the video and comment it’s really appreciated

Hi Callum what’s happening with the drink system ?

@@northernernonthemove lunch and dinner, you have to wait for a waiter to come and take your order for drinks. There is no option to do yourself. Sometimes this can take a while if they are busy and we find ourselves flagging them down. The evening is worse and the queues for the bar sometimes goes all the way down to reception.

@@calumsaunders3647 wow that’s different from when we where there at Easter, evening meal time they had a self service station and not to bad of a queue for drinks on a night 5 minutes maybe, thank you for the update hope it improves 👍 Hope we don’t have the same problem at the Barcelo Playa Blanca flying out today but I will be doing a full review of that hotel to. Hi Ebani the closest beach is right in front of the hotel, it is called Playa de la Guirra. If you scroll through the video you get a birds eye view it is a wonderful beach which is set out as 3 small coves separated by break water walls fantastic to swim in as the water is so calm. Hi Karen I can’t remember seeing a microwave in the restaurant and I will be perfectly honest I have never noticed a microwave in any hotel restaurant, but I will be checking from now on as I suspect you are asking because of heating up a babies bottle or their food, correct me if I’m wrong with my assumption but it is a really good question. Best advice I can offer is to email the hotel and ask them directly. 👍
