when we swaped rows in matrix we need to change a sign of matrix, so? 30:52
Interchanging two rows is a valid operation that does not affect the solutions of the linear system. You could be thinking determinants here. But, the determinant is a number associated to a matrix (discussed later in the semester). I am not calculating determinants in this video. Thanks so much.

fucking finally a video that actually explains it in English and with reasoning and makes sense. Like how professor Leonard is the G.O.A.T. for calculus 1-3 on youtube, you remind me of him in terms of the ability to simplify concepts into digestable pieces. Just curious as to how h in numerator was eliminated without changing denominator for question #1 part b???
If you are asking about the step that happens at about 5:52, I started a new line and divided by h. Initially I was just simplifying f(1+h)-f(1). But, then I need the difference quotient So I divide by h and use that h/h=1.
