I have HOCM and my mother and her father had it, too. My mum passed away last year by sudden heart death at age 72. Maybe because of the HOCM. Who knows. She never had any symtoms. I'm 42 and have typical symptoms like chest pain and shortness of breath if I'm only walking a few steps or just when I lay down. Especially high temperatures in Summer are very exhausting. It sucks.

I'm a 25yr old woman and when I was 23 I was diagnosed with a 7cm x 5.3cm FNH on my left lobe My liver specialist was shocked I have no symptoms as it's apparently pressing on my stomach 😳 It was an incidental finding on a CT scan. I've had 2 MRIs last year to diagnose it and a CT scan just 2 days ago to check up on it.
