Great to see another video Martin
What year is this Martin?
There is a link on wiki about Alabaster and it mentions Watchet. Great video by the way!
Where is this
Any local watchet/ blue anchor residents remember the 2 brothers Chris and Clifford? They were my dads cousins
Great video, commentary. Felt like I was there. Wish. NW Fl here.
Thank you for sharing. Was on the Beach at Blue Anchor just last week (Early October 2021). A beautiful place.
Thank you. I used to holiday here as a child in the 60s. It's one of the few places I would like to revisit, as I have been in S.E.Asia for all of my later years.
Just had a drink at the Blue Anchor pub and watched the most incredible sunset dipping over the horizon . Blue Anchor is one of those places just a mile off the main road that is gridlocked with holidaymakers bound for nearby Minehead and its rammed beaches I have been at Blue Anchor/Watchet for 10 years and never counted more than 8 people on the beaches at any one time . A stunning tranquil atmospheric place that a walk along the sands will bring calmness to any tormented soul . Unfortunately , the nearby ancient port of Watchet has been taken over by a bombastic bunch of so called artists and "community makers" known as "ONION" who are as about as artistic as my old dog and have proved themselves to be Watchets Community "Breakers" a hateful crew of shady businessmen, who have the local council in their pockets and fronted by bullish women that continue to push their Onion project forward in the hope that the wide open split they have caused in the local comunity will heal itself and everybody will bow down, with tears in their eyes to the greatness of Onion.
first?
thanks. enjoyed this. time for people to come together locally and grow local food.
I first found Lands End Farm in1998 on a random cycle ride i have been going back ever since best cider farm ever.
Roger in great form, as always.
Thank you for this video! this is great! Im from the states, but visited England for the 1st time last year and made a special trip to Lands End Cider Farm just so I could taste the legendary "Scrumpy" of Roger Wilkins and see the farm. Was an amazing experience and hope to return to see him and the farm again before he retires!
I'd ❤ to spend a day on Lunday
Brings back such wonderful memories. My last holiday abroad with my wife was Sorrento. We stayed at the very posh Hilton. She managed to get us a brilliant deal somehow. It was a holiday of a lifetime! Thank you for posting
Lucky man Martin. Beautiful...
