People!!! Very important!!!! This is not a permanent fix!!!! It allows you to move your truck to a fix 'em shop. You MUST drain your tank daily!!!! While dryer is bypassed. To really fix it. Replace air dryer, filter, governor. It usually comes together as 1 unit. But make sure it does. Unless you have an older truck and the governor is located by the air compressor.

I did the same thing, but now too much air in the system, air gauge coming close to 150 psi; so stopped and called for recovery; any idea on solving this issue?

Release the tractors brakes and it does the same thing but doesn’t waste fuel. Make sure you are hooked up to a trailer obviously.

did the engineers willing put the pump on the rear of the engine so that it can be used so mechanics make more money rather than truck owner to do it themselves? I am having air issues, maybe its line or fitting that I have not found that could be bad. But this truck has been a lemon. I just spent 45k on repairs and now just replaced the air dryer because the filter is seized on the thing and still keep finding fittings that are leaking air too.
