Enjoyed the video Bring back memories from 20 years ago
Wow I miss the calling, was never a job!
👍🏻😉✨️💖
One day
So Sebastian the firefighter in the video said he is assigned to fire attack and patient care, so essentially first contact on most calls? Wondering how much time on the job Sebastian has to be doing these roles. Is this day in the life of a junior firefighter, or a experienced firefighter or somewhere in the middle?
Fire fighters are true hero’s. Not even getting to finish making lunch and off to fight fires/ medical. What people mistake firefighters, is they only fight fires. This is not true, they also act as ems if none is present. They also could be police assist is needed
Recently i have become a firefighter in germany. I love to watch how firefighters from different countries to things, i wouldve done different
Hi, I am in second grade and I have a question. Why do people have so many medical problems? I thought that firefighters just fight fires. I like that they could sleep in their firehouse.
Man, must be nice not having any run sheets or refusals to fill out
My grandpa was Chief, for many many years for Dallas FDP waaaay back when. When they went in with a wet towel on their face, no mask.. no o2. He said you never sleep or eat on a full moon. If you sit down to eat, gurantee the bell will ring! 😂 and hot summer days, get alot of stabbings. I have the upmost respect for our first responders, fireman.. nurses... cnas... caregivers EVERYONE! it truely does take a special person. Thank you for taking us on your day! Godbless and happy holidays from Texas
Selamat beraktivitas
You do 24 hr shifts ? I thought all schedules were 48-72
I pick on my wife when she watches the shows. I begin to pick them apart and then she will pause it. She won’t start watching it again until I leave the room
Amazing Video. Firefighting is one of my career paths that I’d like to go I to after I graduate, due to their duties, pay, and my uncle who was a Firefighter Paramedic down in Grants Pass. I thank all firemen for their service and hopefully I can one day work for Portland Fire and Rescue, or TVFR.
Go buy food one the government dime, grow a stupid mustache and do some drills, take a nap…. Repeat, an alarm my disturb your government paid nap
I used to live out there. Beautiful area! Live in Ky as a full time FF. Great content, Tell Jesse Bishop he’s a slacker!!
Heroes ❤
Do you guys are doing really good work?
I have always had massive respect for firefighters and paramedics. My grandfather, who is a veteran, had a heart attack about ten years ago, and if it wasn’t for the firefighters and paramedics getting to him so quickly, he definitely would’ve died. He is still alive and well today, and even though I only 11 years old at the time, I remember it like it was yesterday. 🫡🫡🫡
How can I reach out to the main guy in this video I would love to ask him a couple quick questions about firefighting and get to know him please someone help me out

best job in the world
Nobody loves anybody more than a firefighter loves themselves.
First year studying becoming into a fireman and honestly I’m nervous I’m not cut out, but I try my best. Anyone got any advice
good work looked like a fun shift.
Very informative… are you having your second engine laying a second line and working off their truck or are you having that second engine stage on your plug and taking a line to the greatest exposure to check for extension?
i feel like they had to cut out what he said after "two phones" lol

A good solid day of f#@$&*g the dog and a great night of sleep. A firefighters most typical day
I think I know what I wanna be now.
Why
@@adonaimorton6782being a firefighter just sounds so cool and I already know most stuff like RTO Codes and callsign concepts
@OmarHammam-lk5om I was a firefighter for 4 years. It was cool. But I became a cop and never looked back. The blue side is way more impactful compared to being a firefighter
The TV shows are totally glorified crap. Firefighters have it so soft it’s unreal. Paid to sleep on night shifts enormous amounts of time off huge wages for a non educated job only less than 5% of their calls are even fires most of their call are minor are medical aids and in some places they chase along with the Ambulances. Yet a cushy life indeed.
Being a firefighter is valuable. They help with car wrecks too.
@@AmberDennis001 Not a whole lot of car wrecks. Even at a lot of them extraction isn't required. I see firefighters usually standing around doing very little. It's called the firefighter huddle.
my old stomping grounds 75-9 go ducks! Springfield near where the mall is now.
What was the device used to help the lift assist patient up?
Oh no……. I’m on fire…..hurry…..come…
Just because your resources are stretched thin doesn't mean you should change your customer service, maybe if you can't handle calls volume merge with somone who can
ESF is a merge of Eugene and Springfield. They don't change their customer service but focus what resources they actually need to help the patient.
@ethanhyder4044 could you tell me for sure how many ffs you gonna need on every call, no because you don't know what's really behind that door till you open it up. Better to have the resources rolling and not need them than to need them rolling and not have them to be
@@K_ber1 In an ideal world sure its awesome to have more resources then will probably be needed, but as he says in the vid healthcare was a whole is stretched thin and cant afford to use so many resources if they don't know that they will be needed.
Fentanyl overdose call to fentanyl overdose call.
What was the device that the engine company used for that fall? I’ve worked EMS a long time and I’ve never seen that before.
"A Day in the Life...." I LOVE this, Raleigh, m'boy. What a hero you've become.
Hello there, I' m a fire and rescue volunteer here in the Philippines we are seeking for some donations of gears fire gears and also equipments for medical responses, we are indeed in need of gears and equipments for our responses, hope to hear from you chief..
What a fantastic insight into the working life in your position. A very different system to Australia. Here, Fire department and ambulance have always been two separate entities. We don't have EMT level, all emergency ambulance crews are paramedics. Obtaining a Bachelor of Paramedicine is a three year university degree followed by a year as an intern. As you can appreciate, not every firefighter wants to commit to that much study. Ramping is a real issue here too. If you find a solution, let us know. Best wishes and stay safe out there.
Where’s footage of the weekly trips to The Commons on MLK?
We need a “riding with Raleigh” captain edition! Keep up the good work Cap!
