I think the combination you are thinking of is convenient and good. This image format leaves plenty of room for cropping even if you use a 24mm lens or something a little larger. It depends on how much digital zoom you use, what kind of monitor you use, and how much printing precision you want, but I think you can enlarge it up to 5x to 10x (i think images that can be enlarged 10x at 4K size). Considering the margin for cropping, if you enlarge an image taken with a 24mm lens 5 times, it will simply be equivalent to 110mm, so I think it's a good idea to use a single focal length lens for portability. I've always liked taking pictures with wide-angle lenses, so I decided to use only 14mm, but digital zoom can be useful if used properly. I hope you can take good photos!
