ever wonder what that pod on the right wing is on some aircraft? also it's on the right wing because it could block pilot visibility on the left

steel belts around the bead, fiberglass belts make up the cords. this is the biggest standard tire available as original equipment for the C208B caravan. most usually seen on aircraft intended to land on grass and gravel

So in 2024, six years after posting the video, how has this bag held up?
Davis Sharon Clark William Davis Maria
I caught your awesome foamie camper instructables last week and I'm pumped to start a similar project. I'm in the Deep South, so I'm thinking of skipping wood altogether. Have you posted any updates on your foamie campers lately? Any issues with delamination, moisture intrusion, or anything else? Also, looking back, is there anything you'd have done differently with your builds? Thanks a lot!
@Steve-cn5up definitely skip the wood anywhere you can. I haven't used it in a few years now due to family growing up and my wife preferring airbnb to camping. It's sitting in the backyard storing camping and beach stuff. I plan on ripping the roof off and making it into a standing height camper with a bathroom, but that's for the future when our kids are a bit more spread out and we're traveling to visit, if ever. I would definitely use cellular pvc lumber for any door frames, and have the roof be 2" xps as well if I was doing it over. If I used lumber, roof spars would be the only place I would keep them.
@@rowerwet Haha, that totally reminds me of my wife! You mentioned wanting to raise the height of your camper and it got me thinking. If I set up the 4x8 canvased sheets vertically, put them into some heavy-duty base channels, and added sturdy exterior corner trim, do you think that could make them taller? Pretty interesting idea!
@Steve-cn5up I would set the foam panels vertically, glued together using my butterfly scarph joint method and once it was complete, wrap it with fabric just like a smaller camper

Thanks for the tip on how to take it apart and for a $1.99 you cannot beat this knife.
Some nice ideas in here. I’ve been thinking about redoing my box. Anyone in the Midwest looking for a cheap 1/4 drive 12 point set go to Menards!
How thick is the foam? 1” or 2”
@@maddydeth 2"
I used this foam under our pool and it is omitting a very nasty smell (dead animal smell). Has anyone else experienced this problem?
What booster pump are you using?
What size pool? We have a 16x48 I think lol we are doing this next month to ours. Our yard is very sloped so we had to dig out one side quite a bit and it handled the slope rather well. Only off about 2 inches after it settled and then when all the rain came and storm it shifted some. We are also using block to hold our rock in place.
Cool idea, you should make some of the pieces of cutting boards stims!!
Could you cut the strap and glue it or use some sort of adhesive to attach it to the plastic on the tailgate?
Thanks for the clear directions at 5:15. Made my life a LOT easier. Well done.
Love the googly eyes on the aft pulley section. 😂
your a lot help / you do not know anything
okay, figured out my front drive issue. Mower will not start and back wheels are tuning on movement of the recoil. That damn back belt was really tight?????
Great video! I have been wanting to replace my belts for quite sometime. I was thinking go ahead and change the oil while I was at it... I could not find a drain plug on the side or the bottom of the crankcase.
Can you please send me your force to torque key on kg ,libre, inch writ please
Thanks for the close up of the glue to help gauge how much to use. Just started gluing the fabric last night. Looking forward to the results!
If you’re concerned with flow, I’m positive you shouldn’t have a 90 degree fitting within the first 12” of the pump intake.
Why do you use Titebond 2 glue and not Titebond 3 glue? I've seen other foam builds that the builders are using Titebond 3. Thank you for any consideration and your video postings.
TBII is cheaper, and is able to be softened with heat. This allows bubbles and wrinkles to be ironed out with a steaming hot iron. TBIII does not have this ability
@@rowerwet Thanks for the response. I'm really enjoying watching your boat building and repair videos from a few years ago. I'm wondering what happened to your foam SUP project because it looked promising.
Hi, thanks for the video. Do you mind sharing the size of the ball valve? Thank you!
1.5" PVC
@@rowerwet Thank you! :)
You have 2 pumps?
The second unit is a salt cell or chlorine generator, I run a salt pool
My dad started to fly Bonanzas back in 68…they designed these in the 40s…those guys were way smart back then…😊.
yes the water bottle thing is annyoing! I fortunately got a free Walmart clear water bottle and it fits perfectly! My 24 oz hydroflask goes in the center but I miss how i would easily put my hydroflask in the side...1st world problems really lol
What adapter did you use
@@chrisgoins2023 intex to pipe thread adapter
That seems like junk. The Lund one carried by Ford Dealerships is much cleaner.
Thank you for showing that. I am going to start flying one of these, and wanted to understand a little bit more about how the tail assembly worked.
Would this work on top of grass without digging?
@@wendyward3273 probably
What kind of foam is this?
@@LeighJanous XPS
I went to Home Depot and got an... Ummmmm. .. adapter, I think.... and another.... Thing I can't remember what' it's called.... And two of something else.... How VERY UNHELPFUL!!
you installed the back window wrong
I did this last year. The guy at home depot suggested i use the foam board. We Leveled the sand put the foam board on top. I hate I didn't tape it down. So now that im about to change the liner. I'll be sure to tape it this time.
I have a 14 foot round by 42in tall pool and used solid top plastic pallets. 40x48x8 dug down 4 inches and leveled the ground. Installed a weed barrier and Bolted the plastic pallets together with all thread in a 5x5 square. Drilled holes in the pallets and drove rebar through holes into the ground hold foundation in place. Foundation was (200in x 240in) Most local companies have many pallets and give them away for free, just to get rid of them. I also made steps. Stays level and makes a great foundation with no chance of anything cutting the bottom of the liner. $38 all in. Will be posting a video very soon. Just sharing what worked great for me since you’re swapping out your liner.
I want to buy your design I sent you an email
What do you have on the port "B"?
Plastic cap plugs from work. I'm not sure of the part number, they come on components we install on aircraft. I recommend measuring the diameter and checking the toy section, kitchen section or even sex toys to find something the correct diameter to securely plug the holes Wooden dowels will not work, I discovered that the hard way. I now have plastic plugs intex gave with an older pool
Whats the buoyancy of foam do you think its possibleto make pontoons from them
Yes, pontoons are entirely possible, what are you planning on?
Nice video. About to get some foam and tarps to do what you did. 3 year video how is it holding up?
Excellent, I just filled the pool again for the summer, had to replace two corner edges that blew away over the winter, but the rest is doing fine
Thank you
Does it matter there is small divots in the dirt?
Mine is going on concrete
I have been finding how to remove end cap to replace blade. Thank you This is really good stuff. Quality beyond the price. Sturdy with rubber grip and extra 2 blades. 1.99$ But no where to snap off like other I used
My pool is 15” Round . How many of those sheets do you think roughly I need? Mine going on concrete
Do you have the part number for the adapter? I have the Bestway 9x18x48.
Did you make those curved cuts with that utility knife? I ruined a few pieces just jagged cutting it with a box cutter when I couldn't get it in the car from lowes. Then it didn't fit flush
Utility or jack knife, I don't remember for sure
How many pieces of foam.did you need ? And about how much did it cost
