very good Played
😊
Regards, beautiful performance, you have talent.
You play so beautifully!!!!!!!!!! It must be nice to have been given the gift of music by God!!!!!!!! He certainly didn't give it to me.😢 Over 50 years ago, my fifth grade was a chorus. The director, rather than working with me individually to help me sing better, kicked out of the chorus because I sang so off key. She did it in front of the whole grade and I was the only 5th grade child not in the chorus.
Ouch! That’s not fun, glad to see you still enjoy music though! Thanks for the comment
I didn't know i needed this today, but i did. ❤
Please make this longer and loop if you can! I would love to use it for my at-home d&d game with my partners ❤
I can give it a shot!
This speaks to my sole
Wonderful to hear this played .. I sang along !!😊❤
Digital?
yep, 90s rodgers. beautiful cathedral organ coming soon though!
You might suggest to the church that they have Rodger’s turn the reverb on and set it for a second or two. It’s an acoustically dry room and be a bit of reverb would actually improve both congregational singing as well as choral singing. Rodger’s did that for me at a church I was at once long ago and the result was tremendous. Not overdone, just right. The congregation truly came alive with their singing after that.
what is this arr. this hymn? Bach?
Here’s the text copied from the sheet music! Johann Christoph Bach: 44 Chorale zum Präambulieren Bärenreiter, 1949. public domain
Atrocious Rodgers electronic!
I agree, the reeds are bad. This channel shows all kinds of organs, great and atrocious, because not all churches have great organs. Don’t worry, I have a recording session coming up at a local cathedral with a beautiful pipe organ. :)
Wonderful, thank you for sharing.
Sweet.
Too bad it’s a dead room.
The acoustics are significantly better in person, not the best, but pretty good. I have heard worse
@@riversnelsonorgan after installing a new organ in a church, we tried to convince the church to take up the carpet. But nope! Real dead room.
So sad when that happens, it’s like stuffing a pillow inside an acoustic guitar, kills the sound
Nicely done, Rivers.
a jurrasic park theme
During many of the jillion weddings that I was privileged to play, nearly inevitably a family member came up to have a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment with me during a break, during which their invariable take on how the music should sound, whether louder or softer, too brassy or not enough, faster or slower, or do you think we could get another organ in time….!…..message came through. All of them were well-intentioned; most were marginally helpful, but by gum, they knew what they liked for the big bucks paid out (in our particular church culture…free).
Hearing that opening made me remember Rick Wakeman playing the organ on the Yes song Parallels….. So of course I now have to go listen to that… Thanks for putting that thought in my head… 👍🏻🥂😎
Another all time classic.. This is just about one of my favorite hymns. Thanks for sharing.
A great classical hymn; well done.
Im glad to see some of the newer talent coming to the tube; and following in the footsteps of giants. Follow your passion and never stop playing... You play, that only one may hear, the truest talent is seen from those who want it to be seen and heard from only those that can appreciate such a beautiful instrument and the skill involved in mastering the same.
Nice demo..
Gotta love registrants.. In some circles, they are a little more important than the actual organist :-) Great job!
Great hymn. thank you for sharing your talent with the public.
Great talent and beautiful hymn! Well Done!
This kid rocks! Let’s go Midwest!
What a generous soul. And great content for his TH-cam channel.
Thanks!
More cowbell…

Love your other doxologies! Would you be able to play the other common arrangement? My notes have Ken and Psalter on it. 🙂
I’m will try to get it recorded next time I have the chance!
I love when people engage like that, and just want to hear the organ thunder!
Nice playing 😊
