There is superstition in christianity believing in the virgin birth of jesus. Cutting thru' the layers of myths, I figure the bible is written by fallible men but later passed off as word of a man-conceived god. Virgin Mary - if there was truly such a persona in history and not plain myth - was possibly a woman who worked in the streets of ancient bethlehem. She probably hid in a barn in shame giving birth to a fatherless man that clueless sheeple for generations later worship.

Ask yourself why does the birth rate need to increase and fix that problem. It's unrealistic to have 5 kids like people in the 50s did. 1 dads job isn't enough to raise a family so women have to work too. Women can't have a job and raise 5 kids at the same time unless the family lives with both sets of in laws that take care of that family and don't force their wishes on the kids.

Christians are commanded by God to submit to authority eg. Government. True Christians don’t force our beliefs into the society. What happens in the west are generations of people who abandoned their Christian heritage for earthly comforts and pleasures. Something not unusual as God had mentioned many times in the Bible. Christian values are the foundation of strong societies in the west and we still see remnants of it. How can a true Christian having found the truth and good news selfishly keep their beliefs to themselves?

Nobody has ever said that the whole of Singapore will become Christian or be Christianized. Yes the churches in Singapore are still trying very hard to convert as many people as possible to Christ. Nobody can ever stop them from obeying Jesus’ mandate to bring human beings to Him, the resurrected and living God. So it is futile to discourage and disparage Christians from evangelising for Christ as it is a divine commission given by Jesus Himself until He comes back to this earth again. Can anybody stop Jesus Christ from returning to this earth again?? Can anybody prove that Jesus is a fictitious human being who never existed in history?? Then why is it that many and every Jewish family can tell you what Jesus did in their Jewish history?? Why is it that they still hate Him and still reject Him as their Messiah?? Why is it that every time you mention the name of Jesus in front of the Jews they become so angry and emotional?? These are the evidence of Jesus’ tangible existence among the Jews. We Gentiles like Lee Kuan Yew spoke of Jesus in his absolute ignorance of Him!!! It is very likely he would have seen and met Jesus after his death to be judged by Jesus Christ. So human beings cannot talk big to mock and denigrate Jesus when they are alive!

How Lee Kuan Yew is wrong. China has one of the largest underground churches in the world. Millions of Chinese mainlanders have turned to Christ. They are still a persecuted group in China simply because of their fervent faith in Jesus! The more they are persecuted simply because of their faith, the more the church would thrive and grew by leaps and bounds in any country. Iran also has the fastest growing underground church in the middle east though persecution merciless in the country by the islamist regimen.
