Is a $10 Laptop Good For Retro Gaming???
มุมมอง 20K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, I bought a $10 laptop from Goodwill and put it to the test with some retro games. After a quick installation of Batocera, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of such a cheap machine! This is the first long-form piece of content I've uploaded to the channel, so maybe I'll come back one day and think "Wow, I've come a long way!" Who knows? What I do know is that a subscri...
So technically the whole hardware turned into software today.
And It also has trouble Reading games but i only have one game so if you know wheere i can get a cheap Xbox 360 game or help me figure the problem out it would help alot!
Do you know where i can get an Xbox 360 controller real cheap cause i have an Xbox 360 and no controller?
i remember Sony had a similar version but using Hi8 digital tapes
Where's the video??
I've actually heard about this before....lolz
Wtf you mean it’s for dvds, damn thing looks like it can plant a air strike
I worked on it
So this is basically a nowadays video editor software
Would make a good doorstop!
Worked A LOT with it. It was a workhorse.
Well that was fun.
I've heard of it.
I learned Video editing at (AFI Hollywoodi) 1987 on a Sony BVU 920 3/4 Inch U-matic Tape. the set up cost was around $100k. and no A/B Roll (for dissolves) that required a motored VTR that cost an additional $25 K. Amazing how much progress we've seen as editors.
Cool
So I worked on this system I also have cameras and video tapes I also have stock footage
I've heard if it so your guarantee is void but inappreciate the video.
Bet Zapruder had one…
Guarantee huh? Douchbag.
My first thought was a referee’s replay station.
Came up on a search laptop retro gaming great first complete video I’ll check out some other content.
I bet no modern macbook with its final cut can compare with this stuff in terms of convenience and speed of editing
I’ve been editing video since mid eighties. I’ve seen them plenty. Tape to tape field editing. I still miss my old Sony RM-440. Hooked to Sony VO-5850. Good times.
I've used similar in HS. Was just the normal VHS setup, non-portable, but it's what got me into editing ❤️
hardware version of old premiere pro
M-m Massive?
You know what else is massive?
The dust at the fan is a testament for how long it exist..
I've got a new 3DS with a bad L/R trigger button that has a broken rusted spring.... Not sure if i can fix it😢
That is cool....subbed
Looks like something super high tech from 80s
Looks like a military object
these are relics now
I WANT THAT
Right? If the word retro was an object
And you know what Else is massive
Almost thought this was sometype of techno device hahaha
My 1st camera was a DVCPro camera by JVC. The battery weighed around 5lbs. It was njcknamed the "shoulder buster"
Reminds me of an old-school cyberdeck concept in cyberpunk-genre stories.
Thanks for not telling us how much it cost when new
Oh I remember this dream machine!
If one could swap the motherboard out for a modern machine, and re-use the screens and jog wheels, etc that would make a killer DJ setup, running Serato
Looks like the self destruct computer in alien
Thick boy.
Anybody else remember seeing these In the back of wizard magazine?
Cool beans
