Great demonstration. I went from no way I am trying it to actually doing it. But I have a problem now that I cannot figure out. Once I finished the handle install I tested it and everything worked fine. But after about one hour I went out to the car to move it. When I got out the door handle on the inside and outside would not open the door. I tried the key fob. Nothing. Tried the key in the lock. Nothing. Completely baffled what this might be. I am certain I put the linkage back in correctly. Is it possible the remote lock out has changed something? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thank you Mike! 1st, you helped me fix my door handle! OMG, so happy! I'm 73, haven't worked on cars in 25 yrs & female. Here's my story... I've been traveling & suddenly the driver, inside door handle was frozen open. I drove to the 1st Toyota dealership "in a panic" he was NO help.wanted to write it up & said it could take 1 to 3 weeks to get the part. (I LEFT). Afew days later a friend told me where to go for an honest opinion. He said "guarantee that it's a broken handle" not the spring the other guy tried to say. When I got home, ordered the part from MY mechanic & said I'd fix it...also said that if I screw up, he can fix my mistake. My mechanic is great, been with him for yrs & he has fixed MANY of my mistakes. Thank you again!

Hi Mike, I just watched your video on swapping manual crank windows to power windows and door locks in your 97 Chevy truck. I have the wire harnesses for the doors, but do you know if it's possible or how to wire the windows and locks without pulling the dashboard and switching out the complete harness? I have a 97, and I want to do the same thing with it.

Did u use the keyless entry harness from the 98 or was it without keyless entry?

2007 Mountaineer uses 10mm bolts on the 2 side radiator mounts. V8s are the same too

You need to recommend this removal procedure of the interior for people removing and replacing the door striker for single cab Silverados of this generation

I just did my neighbors fuel pump today, you dont have to drop the tank, just move the muffler pipe with your foot when your manuvering the lid of the of the sending unit out of the tank. and thats it...dont have to go through that whole hassle....quick n easy...just jack the passenger side up from the body/chassis.. n your good..easy peasy

Nice video. Just wondering, did you have to buy an adapter for the pulleys or did the 208 that you replaced have a 3/4 inch shaft?

What’s up homie!!! I got a 95 gmc Sierra that’s a work truck but I wanna swap the 95 dash to a 97-98 dash.. I heard that the power window relays are different to make my window power… If you know if it’s possible for me to use the relay box that I currently have or I have to takeout the power relay from another 95

Does anyone know if you can send power and ground and some how get the oem switches to work without running the dash harness like could I run my own relays and wires to get the switches power to the motor or you have to do the dash harness I got everything but the dash harness to switch over on a 95-98

Hi. To do wheel alignment what detail should i wrench? Is it sleeve adjuster or its "mother" (the thing in which adjuster goes in)? If u could make video how to do a alignment it would helpfull)

I did mines everything new but the lock buttons don’t work

Mike, you rock! Your video was a huge help. Seeing how to safely remove each of the trim pieces, and get the door off to access the handle is huge. You don't want to be pulling on things that aren't meant to be pulled on. For the handle part number, I'd recommend calling a Toyota dealer, use your VIN number to verify the part number and buy it elsewhere. I got mine from the dealer, $91 plus tax.

So appreciated to save the cost of what the dealership would have charged to first “identify” then fix the handle. I even swapped out my rear for my front as a quick bandaid fix before ordering another handle on eBay. Anyway, again, thank you.

For my daughter's 2001 Avalon i am trying to install a rear backup camera. Can you show a step by step of how you removed the rear seat so i can figure out a way to snake the wires from the rear to the front of the car?

Can you show how the conveniece center looks like after the swap ? Or how the whole wire harness gets its power ?

Seems like he took off way to much stuff like the brake calipers why?? Other videos they never removed that stuff nor any of the wiper arms seems like he took way to much stuff off imo

Thank you for being pretty much the only info on this light assembly. I temporarily tied it off with dental floss after it killed my battery. :) will get another. I have a 2003 explorer with 90,000 miles. Not read to give it up despite dmv offering me 1000 every 6 months or so. No!

Hello what wiring harness is it? I know the video is from 7 years ago but hopefully you see this

So I’m doing a 3mzfe engine swap on my AWD rx330 and I have a few questions. I’ve already got the bad engine out. The transaxle is still in the engine bay and I’m wondering what the trick is to mate the two back together. I would like to drain the transaxle of all the atf and refill with new fluid but I’d rather not take the torque converter assembly out of the bell housing. Can I just put a gallon in after I reconnect everything and am ready to start the car for the first time and drain the old fluid out one quart at a time through the cooler output line turning the car off then adding a quart of fresh fluid before repeating till the fluid coming out looks fresh? Or will the atf left in the torque converter homogenize with the fresh fluid? Is the only way to do this to remove the torque converter to drain the tc and pump in the transaxle and then fill the transmission topping it off when I can get a hot measurement? Also can I fill and bleed the air out of the coolant system without turning the engine on? Can I keep one of the coolant hoses off and fill the radiator and block till coolant begins to come out of it then connect the hose and burp the system when the engine is running with a no spill radiator funnel? Also how do I bleed the power steering system of air? Just fill the reservoir and turn the steering wheel to the max back and forth till fluid comes back to the reservoir topping it off as I go? Is there anything else I need to be aware of before I turn the ignition for the first time? I’ve read that to prime the fuel pump I can take the efi fuse(s) out then crank the engine to build pressure. I also read that I can turn the key to on for 15 seconds 3 times then crank the engine several seconds repeating 3 times and on the third time the engine will turn over. Good job on your 1mz-fe swap. It must have been very satisfying. I’m trying to do everything I can to guarantee success on my project. I get the donor engine this Thursday (a 2 year newer 3mz from an 06 Rx with 124k miles) I have to do some gaskets and the timing belt before I can slide her back in but the part that concerns me the most at the moment is connecting the transaxle to the engine.

I’m about to do this job at home u think it would be easier to drop subframe
