I had worked at a job where food dressings were made by mixing anything like 25-60 different ingredients. They were tasty, not unhealthy to some extent, but still can be labeled as processed food. Did the creators ever go for such products as a regular staple? No. They said, the fewer the additives/ingredients per dish that are used in kitchen, the better. A Mantra that I want to remind myself when it comes to everyday food.

The way they create "complexity". First they sell you GMO, establish GMO; then they come back to say, stay away from GMO. To stay away from GMO, you pay an extra price, as GMO-ridden food is "cheaper" (sorry for the lang). The same is taking shape around AI. I'll be aware.

Just a thought starting at the beginning, genetically modified foods aren't fake so much as they're contrived. Anecdote I recall from the drought stricken US Midwest during the early 1930s held of a man who cross bred 2 different types of wheat seed, producing an offspring resistant to drought and not harmful to the soil. He was ridiculed, chased away by most at first. The story concludes at being a success and contributing to the rejuvenation of the land as being fruitful. GMOs aren't, by virtue of their development, infallible. At any time they could be consequential. Just also not inherently flawed by virtue of their existence. The devil is in the property rights. How those rights are manipulated by centers of capital wealth to subjugate the populace.

Her policies pray on the ignorance of the public. If she would have been able to do what she wants, she would have caused the death of millions of people. Two good examples: 1. Her proposed denial of food aid to starving people. 2. Her stand on the golden rice. Do not platform this harmful woman. If you are unable to Google, use TH-cam search function and look for Myles Power. He does a pretty good job explaining what is wrong with her stance and policies. She has quite a lot of pain and suffering on her shoulder.

Don't give this lady more attention, she's against GMOs and if she had her way most indians would be dead because of starvation. The only good point she has is promoting biodiversity and sourcing local products that too is dodgy. She had literally said she is against the green revolution which saved india from starvation

Always a pleasure to listen to Dr. Vandana Shiva! Many farmers in India are now going back to Vedic Farming, which is regenerative - much needed in today's food crisis caused by climate and wars. Saving seeds, letting nature work the magic (through helpful lifeforms) and supporting her with regenerative methods can provide us with abundant yields as just rewards.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes my dear lady my thoughts for years and the hybrids and the seedless water melons and so many other plants like seeds being unfirtile like the avacado you can not grow a firtile 🌳 avacado from a hybrid seed ive been trying that for years to prove them wrong but even the young trees are so weakened that they dont grow as proper trees but we as a small group are fighting back by only growing organic food and native medicenal trees and ferns that are edible and medicinal and the motto is growing organic food for medicine anyway we now have an avacado tree growing from an old tree seed i’v realised this problem for years when jewish or rather isrealy sales man came to my door and wanted me to try tast a seed less water melon and i told him to get lost because i realised straight away how are we going to grow our own but gradually people thought oohh more convinient dont have to take the seeds out for instance and so many others as your well aware of these devilish companies have been ruening our seeds our very precious seeds some one in either Australia or America got together to go to remote farmers in Eastern Europe or aribic small pockets of farmers who still had the origenal grain seeds and plants growing anyway they searched high and low but eventually found one or two small farmers who had those original grain seeds they had decided not to use the new seeds that were being pushedto grow more than one crop a year these two wise old people ignored those pushers of the new hybrid seeds which they realised they had to buy new seeds from companies at least twice a year and they realised that they had to buy the firtillisers to be able to grow their crops these two small farmers were able to sell those or some of them to these guys who had been searching everywhere and I believe it took them a couple of years to find these people high up in the i think armenian mountains and brought them back to grow as they were meant to in their original state anyway these guys baked bread from these grains without pesticides and completely organic i have bought that bread many times and its soo filling and tasty you wouldnt ever want to eat that awful comercial white rubbishy bread ever again we have people here in bali doing the same but this was and is in Australia at this very moment these breads come from specialized bakeries only dealing in totally organic breads and a small business is doing the same here in bali mainly to expats who are living here permanently because the balinese dont eat bread they eat rice but my daughter has found a organic red rice which is on the table everyday but the balinese still prefer white rice which is anything not good for them but were going to change that eventually for they do believe in their traditional way of cooking and thats fine except this dreadfull cooking oil that they use theres a lot to be changed back to the more nutritional foods but i reckon we’ll get there because their starting to realise that their being lied and cheated to by these unscrupulous greedy monsters we have just stand our ground and keep going to save our soil and greens and our precious trees and plants and not let these corporations stand over us and poison our water and our crops and plants and trees and our oceans and eventually the planet the hospitals are full of people with preventable diseases and illnesses and this war mongering has to stop just imagine how many children have died from those ground bombs or lost their limbs like now in ukraine they said they the russians that is have spread around the countryside thousands of land mines are they insane i am sorry to say that they are people have got to realise that we all have to take responsibility for our actions to save the planet because this can’t continue as usual were on the path of self destruction if we want to live a healthy life in a healthy planet we MUST change our way and take full responsibility thats all thankyou so much for this very important and necessary lecture from a wonderfull caring woman i love her thankyou again ☮️☮️💟💟🕉️☸️🛐🎵🌹🌻🩵😍☯️✝️🛐🌈🌈☔️☔️🌻🌻🌹🩵😍🍀💜🇳🇿🇳🇿🇲🇨🇲🇨🇺🇦🇺🇦🙏🙏peace and love to all without exception ❤❤❤😂😂😂

If good food (rice, fruits- seeds- vegetables- water) has been only for rich, then mother earth, stops providing...and all your farming, no matter how scientific and innovative...all your efforts will be in vain, and even if initially seem to be working, will eventually result in failure... AND rich or poor men in India who buy expensive or cheap alcohol and indulge in intoxicants AS WELL AS if india is producing alcohol for overseas people on its land while at same time, there are people especialy children who are starving or not eating well... mother earth stops playing ball...everyone will starve ...the days are coming soon...they will sit in their mansions, luxury complexes and apartments and STARVE! ALSO if you destroy habitats of the diverse animals like elephants and big cats etc , you will STARVE. Did you not make the cheetah extinct! HORRIFYING! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHEETAHS? ARE NOT LIONS SUFFERING ON YOUR LANDS? AND ALSO INDIA, YOU LIVE THE 'COW'...THEN WHY ARE HER BABY BULL CALVES BEING SEPARATED FROM HER A DAY OLD AND DISCARDED, MADE TO STARVE, SO YOUR BABY BOYS CAN DRINK HER MILK! ...ALL YOUR SONS ARE DRINKING THE MILK ... THAT IS UNTIL THE TIME THEY CAN BE FED ON WHISKEY! THE TIME IS NEAR! ... ALL CLASSES OF MEN WILL STARVE IN INDIA! ...

Before you know it you are creating soil. To add to her Mahabharat story, a story from that time when lord Shiva came in disguise of a monk asking for food from Yashodas home in Gokul, she was within the inner chambers of her home taking care of baby Krishna and didn't hear the voice of begging monk. Then a lady from neighborhood came and asked lord Shiva to wait as she goes into call Yashoda. She said it otherwise be a disgrace to the entire village if any hungry pilgrim returned empty handed. This was glory of connecting to other human beings then. But today we eat at the expense of a cancer train that is running for farmers who feed us and we don't even care. But we fail to see the energy impacts our lives too. Growing diseases, depression, loss of human connection a result of our ignorance
