Review of the Motley Digging Tools Field Fox by a Non Influencer
Based on the reviews currently on TH-cam, I was apprehensive about spending the money on this shovel. I watched what was available and watched those who made them and saw they didn’t use the shovel regularly.
This shovel is a great piece of kit that fits in my lifestyle of metal detecting, over landing and homesteading work.
Shout out to @SeriousDetecting for their customer service and quick shipping and to @motleydiggingtools for their professionalism handling my Karen email!

Can Heeler’s track??
มุมมอง 68ปีที่แล้ว
My heeler mix (a little beagle mixed in) that is over 50% herding breeds and my full blood mini Red heeler track a deer that ran through the dog park. They didn’t know where it came in as we saw it 100 yards from the fence it hopped to get out. They tracked it through a park that 50-75 dogs a day use to the exact spot they ran it to on the fence. You will see the haircut it got jumping the fence!
Magnum Nomad ice riding using SlipNot Traction tire chains Review
มุมมอง 7592 ปีที่แล้ว
Took my E-bike out to see if my bike would be a viable alternative to an ATV for Ice fishing. SlipNot is a Chain maker that makes chains per order and they fit my 26x4 perfectly for a great ride of pure uncovered ice
New to Ebiking, Started with Magnum Nomad!
มุมมอง 1302 ปีที่แล้ว
While I am a novice, out of shape and by no means an authority, I found that the Magnum Nomad fit my needs for biking and hunting by giving more access to spots I might not otherwise be able to get to quietly. Not many reviews by guys like me so here mine is for better or worse

มุมมอง 6494 ปีที่แล้ว
I took my kayak out with the new motor to test it. It is not set up completely because I don’t have all of the parts like the inserts on the end of the tube to control the rudder cables. I like the motor my top speed down river was 4.1 up River was 3. I will also do a test in a lake without the current. I’m sure there is a remedy but this motor does not perform well in weeds as the weeds wrap a...

Original Boreal Shirt made from a 6 pt Hudson Bay blanket by Empire Wool and Canvas Company
มุมมอง 7K5 ปีที่แล้ว
I want to say at the outset that I am not a videographer. This was shot on an iPhone 7 plus so there will be a few pieces that are out of format. Empire Wool and Canvas was the original designer of what we call the Boreal shirt in his configuration that has been copied by others. Kevin allowed me to bring up this blanket to take advantage of his blanket conversion option. We measured and then c...
Hudson Bay 6 pt becomes an Empire Canvas and Wool Boreal Shirt
มุมมอง 5355 ปีที่แล้ว
I stopped Empire Canvas and Wool today to have this boreal shirt made from a Hudson Bay blanket I had. I have the entire process but am limited to 15 mins. I will find a way to get the whole video up because Kevin at Empire talks me through the whole building of the Original Boreal shirts he and Lester River make. Stay tuned for the full video

Thanks for the honest review as I find it refreshing. BTW I’m interested in that smock/pullover you’re wearing. What brand is it?
Thanks, honestly is the key, not propaganda for a free shovel. The Anorak is a US MilSpec from the 90’s
So hows it standing up 10 months on
@@razer192 it is holding up great! A little cold now for use but I only used it in off-road settings in the other 3 seasons
Nice! Gonna try it in my 2013 hemi next month for a fishing trip!
This Spade is the best on the market Trust a brilliant Spade. If you're tall this is the Spade. Great review buddy
Good review, Brother.
Kool Find!
Nice work my man
Great idea
I found a backseat air bed for the truck. I'm 5'4"
Very simple and easy. I have the exact same truck down to the color, I will probably do something very similar
Thanks I got a 2017 sport hemi and was going for weekend fishing out and about and this will do me just fine👍🏽
This made my day. I have a blanket from my grandfathers sheep and would love to accomplish such a garment.
Be sure to go to Kevin’s page for details
Awesome sewing job
Thank you. Gonna try it in my 2013 Big Horn Crew Cab. Thanks buddy
Would love to have Kevin make this for me out of my Hudson Bay Blanket, will call him , Thanks for sharing!!
I have 2 from him...nothing compares to them. Price can sting, but 2 just dinners out with the family cost more.
Good to see you posting again! I’ve been looking at an eMotorcycle myself
Thanks Brother
Hey bro looks good. I have the J2 Bixpy on my SS 107. I've added the bixpy hand rudder control. I also purchased a 2nd bixpy battery. One is mounted inside the hull. My spare just replaces it with 2 Allen wrench screws with a bracket I designed. She goes atleast 8-10 hrs on all different speeds. I get 4.5 to 5 mph. But I'm also 5ft 7 151 lbs. So that's why I wanted the 107. But you might have to adjust the motor under the boat, until you get it right. it could make a big difference in getting 2 mph more. You should be getting a minimum of 3.5 to 4 mph. Good luck. I adventually want to go with the Torqueedo 403 or maybe 1103. But I did do atleast 3 adjustments. It's my 1st kayak and see no reason to upgrqde.🤔 😎 🎣 🙏
Thanks for the info!!
Is there a pattern to buy? I’d like to attempt making one out of grandpas wool blanket. I’ve not known what to do with this blanket we have stored. A winter jacket seems perfect.
There are patterns all over the internet. Kevin leases his pattern to Lester River BushCraft
Fantastic! One of best vids I’ve seen for a long time!
Maybe spot spraying it off with water hose spray nozzle first. Just a thought.
Bad acting.
Semper Fidelis brother, I noticed your ink...I have one too! 😎👊
My old White's 6000/Di Pro could have found that easily. You don't need an over-priced machine to find copper that is shallow of that size. Just saying. Nice find. Location, location, location, is the key.
That's awesome! I found a copper celt last week. I'm hoping to go back to that area and find more.
When I found out I could do this in my truck... the game changed
Air depth and ground depth are completely different
What is the cost to convert your blanket into this awesome shirt.
Please check out the website, as you can see Kevin is a master at his craft! empirecanvasworks.com/
How tall are you
5’10.
I have the same truck, sorta. 2015 RAM Sport. I've slept in the backseat Once! It was a trial run... At first I thot I'd be folding the seats up but it looked too crowded to me. So I left the seats alone and actually used my 4-5 in. Couch cushions On Top of the seats! I rolled up a comforter to help with the angle where the seat bottom meets the Back. And I placed small heavy duty storage boxes in the foot wells to support the cushions which are about 27"wide and go All The Way to the back of the front seats! How much room do you have? How WIDE is your camp mat? I have a camp mat too, somewhere, that I'd thot of using, but those cushions are SO COMFY and they bring you Right Up to the height of the arm rest!....
The 6 point Hudson bay is one of their heaviest blanket weights. Would a 4 point Hudson bay work also?
Yes!
I saw your documentary video of Kevin making your Hudson's Bay blanket into an anorak - great job. If I could, I would also do that as well with a HBC blanket, and I have a few other ideas to go along with it. I love wool, if you see my channel you will find that out quickly. Have fun out there! ATB from New England :-)
Good morning Mr. Kevin, You made a beautiful boreal shirt, Which I am drooling over, but unfortunately I lack the knowledge and ability, the machine, and the money to either make or buy myself one, as I am a senior on an extremely fixed income🙁
Good afternoon Mr. Kevin, That was a beautiful boreal shirt that you made, But unfortunately I neither have the skill, the machine, or the money to make or purchase Myself one, as I am a senior on very fixed income
This is not @empirewoolandcanvas.
Hi there fellow treasure hunter🤙.Love your vlogs. Exstreamely entertaining and educational. 😍 I just Subbed your channel. Showing my fellow hunters some much deserved love all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦. Keep them comming pretty please 😁
Here in NY homeowner owns curb strip but city and state have open access to do road and utilities work. too bad because there are some nice old sidewalks in my area.
I’d love to do something similar.
This was great. Thanks so much for recording the process and posting the video.
Hi, is that a full or mid weight anorak
Ap Leparulo it is a full weight
Nice dig man! Oh, if only they were silver right? Would love to see some more Impact vids. I'm savin up for one right now & the more info the better! GL & HH
It would be less of a chance of hostility if you would've used a sod cutter/digging tool rather than a shovel. Shovels in parks and strips get us reported. It's all about perception.
Just like you perceive I am using a shovel and can’t cut plugs better than you, right??
Like 👍 i subscribe ❕ Zapraszam na mój kanał
I love watching anyone who is a master at their craft ,Kevin makes it look easy
Nothing impressive
Wow congrats on your find ! That is awesome. Happy Hunting :-)
Chocolate Cherry Coins thank you!
The impact was a good machine. I just like the multi frequency of the Nox better than having to switch through the Impact. Plus some of the reviewers were planting targets for their reviews so it soured me on the machine.
Great video. Al
Why not bury the item get a more accurate depth. Al
exploring with Al it was an out of the box air test for the Impact. I have moved on from it to the Nox 800
Im here for the WOOL. Just watched the Boreal show with Kevin. I pair the Boreal with his Permafrost Parka. Winter aint got nothing on me. Kinda cold in Rochester NY....not Minnesota cold though.
So yeah- I wont be sewing my own DIY Boreal shirt anytime soon. Kevin is casually creating an heirloom. His skill set is not something you can mimmick in a couple weekends. I already sent him 2 USGI blankets for his chop shop- He returned 1 Boreal and 1 Scout. I hate choosing which one to wear :). Thanks for the video-Long overdue behind the scenes. Now I have to find me a Hudson Bay donor.
Really cool to see Kevin at his craft!
Great to see how much work goes into the Shirts, Awesome Work Kev.
