I am a beginner motorcycle rider living in Western Australia. This channel will be following my journey as a beginner motorcycle rider as a way to share what I learn along the way, as well as being able to learn from others.
Twisty Jarradale Roads vs Noob Motorcycle Rider - Lines, what's that?!
Just me and my MT07 (yet to be named) taking on twisties for the first time. Trying to learn road positioning isn't as easy as it sounds. Sure, it could have gone better. But you've got to leave room for improvement, right?
I'm a beginner motorcycle rider doing twisties out in Jarradale, Western Australia. The perfect windey roads to practice on. Even better, there's barely any cars! Just watch out for Satan rocks and make sure you can ride on gravel if you want a refreshment at the pub.

Motorcycle Gear Facebook Marketplace Haul Vlog - These jeans are the WORST thing I've ever bought!!!
มุมมอง 5684 ปีที่แล้ว
So you have stumbled across my quest to find good quality motorcycle gear, on a BUDGET. I am a beginner motorcycle rider and I already understand how hard it is to find good women's gear, let alone gear that a normal human person can actually afford. Is Facebook Marketplace my saviour?! What kind of gear is on Facebook Marketplace? How much could I save by buying my gear used? Is this a good wa...

I know it seems confusing but stop procrastinating - the sooner you apply for that motorcycle licence you have always dreamed of, the better! Here's exactly how to do it, with some handy tips about how to bypass the boring stuff ;) Link to Ride Safe Handbook: www.rsc.wa.gov.au/RSC/media/Documents/Resources/Publications/ride-safe-handbook.pdf Link to Learner's theory test practice quizzes: www.t...
With motorbikes comes the market place addition 😂 keep up the videos not many w.a girls doing it 👊😎👊
I have a car licence already, do I still have to do all this ?
show me your license then i will believe you
Why did you stop making videos? Your content is great! 😊
As someone who'a failed twice now, and someone that has a brother that failed twice also, here's what we both failed on: [Failing to cancel indicator]. It is a hard thing to build into muscle memory if you haven't managed to get enough hours riding on the roads to learn how to cancel non cancelling indicatators. [failing to perform emergency stop]: Both of us had slightly wet conditions on the days of the tests we failed to this reason. The only thing i've learned so far is to load up the front brake about 95% and only tap the rear brake lightly. It will depend on the actual bike you are riding, but practice these a lot before your test on different road surfaces to learn the capability of your bike. If you skid even a tiny amount it's a fail, and if you can't stop before 12 meters when the instructor raises their hand (15 in the wet) it's a fail. You are given two attempts and take penalty marks if you can't do it the first time. Our bikes have both been enduro dirtbikes with enduro tires. Road tires should make it a fair bit easier to stop without skidding i think.
I have an unrestricted MC license do I still need to do this?
Sorry so to clarify do I need to get six months of supervised riding before doing my hazard perception, or 50 hours? I’m a little confused
Thx luv 👍
A nice little summary minus all the bullshit. Great to have it simplified for a newbie. Thanks for taking the time to break it down.
Do you have to wait 6 months if you have a car licence. Also do you have to own a bike for the 6 months are can you just wait 6 months and do the test. Thanks !
Hii. hope you are well. just one Question so can I use my overseas license then even if I'm under 25?
So I have a C license, do I have to be supervised while driving on my Learners RE licence? Or can I drive without being supervised? Thanks
So in Western Australia do you have to do an eye test (like you have to for C class license?? At any stage? Or can I remain anti-social go in sit theory and take off? Haha
I haven't had to take any sort of eye test before doing practical assesments for motorcycle license (failed twice so far) You can just go in there and be antisocial for a bit yes. If you don't have a license already, the process may be different.
Thank you for you video I'm about to move to Australia and this video is totally helpful for me to know exactly what to do when I come there ^^
Thanks so much for your videos, I took your advice and winged the Theory test without any study. Like you said it was all pretty much common sense. Its also great to see you riding around Perth , my home town. BTW what type of Bike are you riding, I`m not sure to buy new or second hand and still don`t know what brand to by. Anyway keep the video coming , they are informative and fun. Thanks .
What about hazard perception test?
Thanks for this video. It would be great… if you tell what to do if I have an overseas bike license?
Is a 50 hours logbook required after I’ve already done 50 hours on my Ls in a car?
have you found out?
@@lucca2716have you found out yet?
Thanks for the refresher. I've been sitting on my learners for a while & needed reminding of some things. I know this doesn't help anybody but I got very lucky, having had my L's once before I got in just before some kind of grace period when I applied for my L's a second time & I don't have to do any of the logbook stuff. I could have booked my practical test immediately if I wanted. It at least serves as a reminder that the rules could change, although I'm not aware of any changes since this video was uploaded
How am I supposed to log hours if I don't have anyone to accompany me
Hi there, great video and thanks for posting this. Just wanted to ask if you took lessons after getting the L's ? if so, where do you reccommend. Cheers
Thank you! Great vid
Hi, Just wondering if you could help me with some information? I am considering getting a R-E motorcycle licence in the near future. I have held my R-N (moped) licence since 1991 & C class (car) licence since 1992. For me to get my R-E licence what do I need to do? I can see that I do not have to log the 50 supervised hours but will I still be required to have a learner's permit for 6 months then sit the Hazard Perception Test even though I have held a R-N licence for 31 years? Thanks
Hey, are u still riding?!
Are you still riding? Its been more than a year since your last update.
@Shackle tans are you still rideing? Its been a year since your last video :)
My problems my English not good for answer the exam for license but I'm good drive motorcycle I have experience 5 years in drive motorcycle
Hello, thank you for the information. I do have a question, I have a WA car full driving license and I am over 25. Can i directly go for R-E license or do I need to go through the Learner's route?
Learner's man, just won't have to display any P plates after
What about electric moter bikes?
Great video, the only edit, if not already mentioned, is just because you can go riding with someone who has had their license for more than 4 years, doesn't mean you should. For example, my father in law has had his motorcycle license longer than I have been alive, at the time he got his license, he literally had to ride around the block with a police officer so they could deem that he could confidently control the bike.. He has little to no experience in current day methods, best practice procedures and ways to handle a bike that is expected of one to be riding on the road now days. As such, his recommendation, was go and get as many hours on the bike with a licensed, well recognised (reviews help) instructor on their approved bikes. Instructors are better suited to help set the foundations for good riding habits, and once you've got enough time in with an instructor, you can then go riding with any person(s) whom you're allowed to ride with so you can concentrate on working on what you learnt from your lessons. It's far easier to set good, safe riding foundations from the get go than it is to learn how to ride a bike and then have to shake bad habits because you and the person you were riding with didn't know any better. You don't know what you don't know, and seeking assistance and paying for a professional to help you is worth every cent.
Is it a different process if you already have your car license?
Has anyone got an update on moto?
You are doing really well ! We all should corner on these two way roads at a speed to compensate for the one coming the other way who forgot to take the corner at a safe speed, this is the best tip I can think of after 35 years of driving in the Southwest of WA
Pea gravel is the worst! Feels like you can fall over at any point haha. How do you find the mt07? I bought an mt03 secondhand (almost brand new) and find it is absolutely fine power-wise going on Roe or Tonkin, but... do I want more oomph? :) Also the seat isn't great on long distance, dunno if the mt07 is better. Nice twisties, country roads are so much fun.
Yeah use your common sense. I passed y theory test in 5 mins.
I got a learners permit for more than a year and haven't hot a chance to have a riding lesson as I am too busy....
I just took the practice test and passed 80% with no study LOL Thank you! Nice video :)
Bro. Can international students get a license over thereM
@@iv-hf7dm yes you can
What’s in the test
I would love to join you for a ride. If I only lived in Australia.
Nice work chick!!! I recognize those roads from back in the day!! Are you still riding?
Lovely video! Your attitude is so positive!
Absolute legend! Cheers
Hello I’m just wondering if i am on my Red P can do I need to wait 6 months todo the test or can I do it straight away
Hi I’m 21 years young and I’ve been told that I look 18😂 anyways I just recently got my motorcycle license and I need some friends to hang out with sometimes with motorcycle
Where can I find the other video ? Of what to expect at a the practical exam ?
Very helpful thanks! Can’t wait for the other video 🙏
The information saviour we’ve all been looking for 🙌 dot website is the worst.
very informative. thanks heaps.
What image was that when you talked about engine size? Pulse jet engine? It wasn’t a motorbike engine.
On your P’s and pretty sure L’s you can have engine power above 660cc, there are loopholes like if the bike is really heavy let’s say
hi great video, just a question how much should i expect to pay for courses to fill my 50 hours in my logbook. ive been looking around and all seem to be $3k+ for the total 50hours. thanks
also, is the logbook only applicable if you do not hold a drivers license? on the website and in the ride safe book it says if you have your C class drivers license you dont need to record any hours. do you have any information on this i cant seem to find any ones take on it to confirm. thanks for helping!
That's what I was wondering
this is awesome! thanks so much! was your intro in the warnbro salt lakes?
It is!!! I love the salt lakes ❤️
