One of my favorite shows of all time. Have rewatched the series 4 times in it's entirely since it's debut back in mid 90s. (Just finished a few moment's ago on TH-cam) Loved it All due to the conspiracy, and the themes provided by the show which makes one think how possible all this can really be. Im sure I'll watch it in the future sometime again.
@@locochapin Thanks for your comments, I think it's an addictive series, I certainly will watch it again in the future. 👍
Cop Land is a good Sly Stallone movie
@@saulsmitherman3755 Thanks for your comment, I totally agree with you. 👍
Poor Ian 😂😂😂 all the fun good laugh lads 🤣💪💯
@andylikesstuffchannel Thanks Andy for watching, we have a great time doing them and a good laugh. 🤣
You're so welcome Ian, i hope you get many nostalgic moments watching the episodes back.
@dennyhaynes3 Thanks Denny.👍
Awesome t shirt merry christmas and great list
Oh yes Superman and invasion of the body snatchers. At least once a year me and my brothers watched Superman and Invasion of the body snatch.
@VanessaLong-k4h Thanks for your comments , those are 2 films I watch at least once a year. 👍
I’ve never heard of them before except for Star Wars 😅 Im gonna watch them all Thanks
@LandonRicketss Thanks for your comments, all are well worth watching. Close Encounters Of The Third Kind is an underated Spielberg classic.👍
Dude has been taking too many pills.😂
You look like a 30 year old cosplaying as an 80 year old
Superman The Movie definitely. Christopher Reeve was brilliant in the role. Great choice.
@johntaylor6345 Thanks John for your comment, in my opinion Christopher Reeves was the best Superman. 👍
Great that you enjoyed it. I thought it might be right up your street.
@MuckMan_Movies Thanks Jamie for your comments and sending me this. It was the kind of Epic film I enjoy. 👍
All good ❤
@leighcuff941 Thanks for your comment, it was a strong year. 👍
@ian23doc definitely one of the best mate
A very generous gift from Denny. Plenty to keep you occupied over the festive season!
@outpost3178 Thanks for your comments, it was a very generous gift, looking forward to watching them. 👍
Very generous of denny and a lovely Christmas message....maybe a review in the new year ? Certainly a great series to do...anyway excelsior my friend.
@delboy3k1 Thanks for comments, it was a lovely gift from Denny and very generous. It will be interesting to see how well it stands up now, but I know I will still enjoy it. 👍
Congratulations on getting to seasons of Buck Rogers. I,too, loved watching it when I was a lot younger. Great memories and full of nostalgia. I know you will enjoy it. I love your videos. You have loads of enthusiasm for what you buy or receive from others. Well done on another video.
@johntaylor6345 Thank you John for your comments, a lot of what I do on my channel is based on nostalgia. I enjoy sharing that enthusiasm, and I'm happy that is shared by my followers of the channel. 👍
I feel asleep after the first sentence 😅
Love close encounters and of course star wars
@leighcuff941 They are all time great films, love them. 👍
Definitely Close Encounters and Star Wars, a Spielberg and Lucas film. Steven and George met up in Hawai during the release of Star Wars and George mentioned that he had an idea for a movie of an adventure/archaeologist that Steven might be interested in. Steven had approached Cubby Brocoli because he was interested in making a James Bond movie for Brocoli but Brocoli didn't want his James Bond film to be a Steven Spielberg film. George Lucas asked Steven if he would be interested in directing his Raiders of the lost ark project and when Steven saw the script he agreed to do it. The rest is history.
@johntaylor6345 Thanks for your comments, and sharing this information with us, love these kind of background stories. 👍
I have all those on physical media besides Capricorn one. Absolutely love Damnation Alley even though others slate it. Prefer The land that time forgot to the people that time forgot.
@dennyhaynes3 Thanks Denny for your comments, glad you enjoyed my video.👍
Looks like a good film i seen the trailer when at Halloween i seen nightmare on elm Street, on the big screen
@stuartgeorge2324 Thanks Stuart for your comment, this will be in my list of favourite films of the year, will be doing a video for the end of the year. It's great to see some of those classic films on the big screen, I saw both when they were released. 👍
Doc Savage is so good.
@GeekBen Thanks for your comment, totally agree with you.
Great stuff Ian, the ghost story on Christmas Eve sounds interesting might need to have a look at it as it would be something different to watch than our usual rinse and repeat Christmas movies. On another note, Del has said you were appearing on another channel live stream I just wondered what channel it was as I always like to have something to listen along to with just people talking. Anyway all the best for the next few weeks and I hope you have a nice Christmas time whatever that entails. Cheers.
I'm enjoying listening to you do these reviews. I feel like I'm at my neighbor's house hanging out. From Middle Tennessee, USA
Great to hear you had so much fun watching this. I need to rewatch it because I cant remember too mucb about it. Kind Hearts & Coronets is my favourite out of that boxset. Alec Guinness was such an incredible actor!
I really liked Alec Guinness in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, when he played George Smiley. A fine actor.
I remember watching this years ago Ian; must have been on VHS - as i can't find a DVD😂 Definitely on the list to get; as i have most of the Ealing comedies. Alec Guinness was one of those actors who could play both dramatic and comedic roles with equal expertise. I did recently get another Ealing comedy in which he stars, and don't see mentioned - Barnacle Bill[1957]. Coincidentally i watched The Constant Husband[1955] yesterday; in which Cecil Parker is in the supporting role of a doctor to Rex Harrison - who plays an amnesiac bigamist ! 🤣🤣
@tonyyork46 Thanks Tony for your comments, this box set of Ealing Comedies, was a great show case for the talents of Alec Guinness. There's a lot of depth and breath to his performances throughout his career. 👍
Yes. I approve. Especially, Logans Run. Great choice, Ian.
Thanks John for your comment, I must upgrade to the blu-ray sometime, I think it's on the HMV Premium Label.
What a talent alec Guinness was 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻📽️
@stuartgeorge2324 Thanks Stuart for your comment, totally agree, his filmography is widespread and full of great performances. 👍
@ian23doc I recently seen him in Scrooge as Jake Marley 👍🏻
@@stuartgeorge2324 That's a great film.
@@ian23doc for me though the star of that film. Is Kenneth Moore as ghost of Christmas present
@stuartgeorge2324 Now Kenneth Moore there's another actor who had a great career, very talented.
if you don't mind animated films i would recommend Treasure planet it aired in 2002 but undersold do to bigger named moves being released at the same time but its a very good movie in my opinion
@blasthammer1806 Thanks for your comment, I've not really explores animated films, but I am open to trying them. 👍
Good ranking, would put Scary Monsters higher. My ranking (off the top of my noggin - 1. Hunky Dory 2. David Bowie (aka Space Oddity) 3. Ziggy Stardust 4. TMWSTW, or the 2020 remix Metrobolist (brilliant) 5. Scary Monsters 6. Diamond Dogs. 7. Pinups 8. Aladdin Sane 9. Station to Station 10. David Bowie (the one with Uncle Arthur, Rubber Band, etc).
@SuperGrumpyDaddy Thanks for your list, some interesting selections, I don't think there's any doubt that Hunky Dory will always be a contender for his best album. However my love of Aladdin Sane will always be there. 👍
Enjoyed watching it last night! 👍
Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed our live chat, we love doing it. 👍
Bloody hell mate I remember when you started the Xfiles reviews BRAVO for going this long there's loads to go 👏💯👍
How many films do you watch in a day?
@Lasagna182 I try and make sure I watch at least 1 film a day, but sometimes it can be 2 or 3. 👍
@@ian23doc 👍
What is your Best one of all time
@leighcuff941 I would have to choose Blade Runner, but it's very difficult, there's a lot of Sci-fi Films I like. 👍
One of the greatest police conspiracy sagas ever made.
Great Stream lads always a good laugh
@andylikesstuffchannel Thanks Andy for all your support. 👍
Hope you had a good day on Monday
nice
Thank you for your top sci fi films from 1972.
@SpikingDragon Thanks for your comment, glad you enjoyed my video. 👍
THX-1138 came out that year, too. It's not perfect, but it's noteworthy. Also, The Hellstrom Chronicles, which inspired Hellstrom's Hive, one of Frank "Dune" Herbert's better books. Also that year, the strange parallel-universe film Quest for Love.
@RandomAxeOfKindness Thanks for your comments, 1971 had some great Sci-fi Films. 👍
AWESOME
I like Death to the Daleks
@matthewbolitho-jones Thanks for your comment, this is one of my favourite Dalek stories, and one of the early VHS tapes I bought. Alot of good memories of this story. 👍
I would make a comment about who the f%$* cares, but looking at his mom's basement and all his collections...I recognize myself...
@TushPoint0 Sadly my Wife, Mum and Dad are no longer here in this life.
Some pretty good choices
@JacobHewitt-p8t Thanks for your comment. 👍
@@ian23doc np, also I love the Spiderman and batman figures in the background of the video
@JacobHewitt-p8t I might get some more in the future, not sure yet.
@@ian23doc if you do I'm sure they'll fit on nicely

10cc were are great band I have this on vinyl every track on this album is great
@markmclaren7577 Thanks Mark for your comment, I do love this album. 👍
I always thought Lee and Cushing just collaborated on Hammer horrors. I didn't know they were in a sci-fi movie together 😅
@WeeStevieB Thanks for your comment, it's good to see them in a Sci-fi Film. 👍
Doctor Who trailer 😒 I've not rewatched a single episode of the 15ths first season
@andylikesstuffchannel It's not Doctor Who anymore RTD has ruined it with all this Disney message nonsense. I have loved Doctor Who since I was child and it's so sad to see what he's done. I hope it gets cancelled and there's a break again before it returns.
One of my favourite Charles Bronson films Ian, I have this in my collection, maybe time for a rewatch. Thanks buddy. One of my favourite Alistair MacLean films is called Bear Island, worth checking out if you can find it.
@bushmanblu426 Thanks for your comments, Charles Bronson is excellent in this film. I've not seen Bear Island sounds like it's one I should check out. 👍
Future Rich Evans 😮
You have a list by year? Like wow!
Thanks for your comment, I enjoy doing these lists. 👍
Great video and great collection of items you was sent
@Kotdt1 Thanks Danny for your comment, there's a lot to enjoy here, really kind of Jamie to send them to me. 👍
