Thanks for your lovely comment and support. Your appreciation means a lot.
Which microphone was used on vocal recording?
AKG C414 XL II
Acoustic guitars also by same microphone?
Yes. It is my favorite mic and I use it almost on anything during recordings. But SM-57 is also my favorite mic. There are days I rely on only that for acoustic guitars.
Really great choice. Wish to use it someday. Was It used in tabala and flute also?
Yeap
Dai, Track Mixing Mastering ko euta Proper video banaunu na.. It will help a lot❤..
Sure. Thanks for suggestion hai.
Great...
Thank you
Thank you 💙 enjoyed and learned Keep uploading other songs too
Thank you. Certainly will do so very soon.
Where did you learn from production, mixing master??
I learned it from my elder brother and also one friend. And later from different books & online materials.
sir tapai la kunchai software chalawnu huncha
that's logic pro (Mac)... but can use fl studio, ableton live or Cubase or other in windows
Yes exactly. Anything that gets the job done.
I really loved watching your video. It was super insightful and helpful for people like me learning music production. Thank you ❣
Thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me! I'm glad it was helpful.
loved your production on this dai, can you show or tell us your guitar, flute or tabala recording process , gears and techniques.
My main mic is AKG C 414 XL II going to RME UFX +. So basically my chain is this for every live instrument. It is all clean going to DAW, no eq or compression etc applied when going to DAW. For acoustic guitar I'm taking both mic and DI at once for each takes, so I have 2 tracks of acoustic guitar of one take. As you can see in video I have 4 tracks of rhythm guitar of doubled tracks. I'm keeping the mic distance roughly about 6 to 8 inch targeting the 12th fret but making the mic slightly twisted towards the body area of guitar. For electric guitar I'm using straight DI to my interface. Sometimes I do use miking a real amp and using my pedalboard, but sometimes I don't do that. Depends on time and sound requirements in every other projects. For flute and tabla I'm using same mic. I'm recording everything in a nice isolated room in my studio. Flute is simple setup same mic in distance preferred by Umesh Pandit Dai. And for tabla I'm putting the same mic of about 6 to 7 inch roughly above the tabla. C 414 specially on tabla is magic. That one mic is enough for that tabla to blossom out in any song. I have several guitar options during recording, for this song I used crafter acoustic guitar and for electric I used samick and strat. Sometimes for electric guitar I use an overdrive or distortion pedal that goes to my interface and I use clean software amp. I prefer neural dsp amps these days but back when doing Nihita I didn't have neural dsp. I pay a lot of attention while setting the gain level in interface before any takes. That is the most important part for me in any recording.
@@studiomnepal dai i have focusrite 18i20 sound interface, i having a problem of getting high noise floor so im not getting clean recording when tracking guitars, any suggestion for this high noise floor issue, is external mic pre amp worth it for thise issue?
@@KILAMUSIC 99% it's not interface fault. But there could be rare case problem with interface which might get fixed by a technician. Most of the time it is because our city line is not clean. Other problems could be low quality guitar cable, some problem with guitar pickup or port itself and some other interference in signal path. Try checking all those. To check, if your are using laptop, try giving it full charge and unplug the adapter of laptop and try recording and see what happens to the noise floor. In addition also try to set the input gain in optimum level in the soundcard input channel. I face noise problems too most of the times. I usually try to check all these and live with whatever best noise floor I can manage in that time period. Good Luck.
Fruitfull watching your session . Thakyou sir❤ Adrian dewan dai ko aat vane geet ko pani video banaunu na if possible 😁
Will try my best for nearest future. Thank you for your lovely suggestion. That song is also among the ones very close to my heart.
GOOD JOB BROTHER
Thank you
Which is the best platform to listen music?? Like quality wise...
Personally I find youtube good enough for myself. It also depends on if the content creator has uploaded high quality audio or not. I sometime use spotify, sounds fair enough. But you can explore others too. Thank you for asking.
Samaye ley ko pani halnus na ❤
Yes, have been thinking about that too. Will find time for that soon. Thank you for the suggestion.
Loved it. Acoustic guitar sounds awesome. Which guitar?
Used a Crafter guitar back then but now don't have it. Got other new guitars now like Ayers and others. Thank you for asking.
Sir yo song ko official instrumental ra Studio Acapella upload gardinus na😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
Unfortunately I don't have the authority to do so. Only John has the authority. But thank you for your valuable request.
Thank You for this. DO you teach Mixing and Mastering?
Yes I do teach mixing mastering. New session starting from Feb 2025. You can leave your number here. I can get back to you soon.
Dai music production hjr le Kaha siknu vayako ho ani Kaha sikda ramro hunx❤
Learned it from my elder brother and also a friend. Later did a lot of self study and a lot of practise. But I'm still studying about new things that are coming along with new technological changes. I do give classes about production. This year took a gap from classes because 2024 has kept me busy with recordings only. New session will start in 2025. Planning for February. You can leave your phone number here. I'll get to you soon. Thanks.
Kash hmi ni siknu pawthew tara k grni accesories afford nei grnu skdeina my parents only gives money on studying not in my hobby what i wanted to do
If you love doing something in life, you will find a way one day. It's just matter of time. But also you should never let your parents down. You can study and do other things and music also all side by side. For example I know a doctor who is one of the best in Nepal and also doing music as his hobby and releasing songs.

Talented rojman dai❤👏👏
Did Slash use this pedal live at that show? Is that the message here?
Never knew these were glow in the dark lol
Hey, if i am already experiencing capsule damage, would this still help remove the capsule and maybe bring the microphone back to normal?
@@antsinmyblood maybe not. In such worst cases you might wanna find a microphone specialist in your area
Just bought the exact same one! Recommend any good settings ?
I read about the hidden switch to zak wylde overdrive mode inside it's board. So I opened every of it's part and did that. I usually am loving tone knob between 12 to 3 o clock. Volume at 12 o clock. Drive according to taste and style of song I'm playing. On overall great pedal. Loving it. Got tube screamer mini but now I grab mxr all the time for any kind of recording or performance. Hope that helps. Cheers.
