This is actually the optimal df2 combo without walls... because normally in combos you can't do uf1 --> heat activation (You can sometimes but it is really hard). Instead of 1 --> Heat activation --> wr 1+2 --> wr 3, you get uf1 --> heat activation --> wr 1+2 --> wr 3.

Well, as far as I remember, the main character is a ninja and must rely on tricks and cunning, so pushing an almost unconscious evil monster into the abyss seems quite logical to me.
