This is a place where I can share all my fun projects. I have had several people say I should make a channel to share. I will be doing anything cool, blacksmithing, high power rockets, chemistry, restorations, refining elements from nature and much much more. So if you are interested watch along. I may even get into some educational content in the future.
Forging a Fillet Knife
In this episode I forge a fillet knife form 15N20 using the Champion Coal forge I restored in a previous episode. I used rattlesnake micarta I got from Pop's Knife Supply to make a really unique handle. This knife along with krauser's knife from Resident Evil were stolen from my truck in Denver Colorado.

Making a Skinning knife
มุมมอง 2.6Kปีที่แล้ว
In this video I make a skinning knife out of 15N20 steel with a desert ironwood handle and a mosaic pin. Every good knife needs a good sheath and I carved an elk into the sheath to see if I could.
Making a Machete for the Youtube Chopper Challenge
มุมมอง 431ปีที่แล้ว
In this episode I decided to challenge myself and make an entry into the TH-camr Chopper Challenge. I used stock removal on a W2 bar for the blade and used pecan and scraps of dyed wood from Oleg for the handles. It does chop!!!
Making Jack Krausers Knife From The Resident Evil 4 Remake: Part 2
มุมมอง 878ปีที่แล้ว
On this episode I made a tactical sheath and finished making Krausers knife from the Resident Evil 4 Remake. There were a few blemished I wasn't happy with that needed removing. I made a leather cross draw sheath for the knife an I put an edge on the knife. I got a little advice on what to use as a plagas substitute and we test the knife.
Making Krausers Knife From Resident Evil 4
มุมมอง 5Kปีที่แล้ว
Resident Evil 4 was one of my favorite games when it came out. With the remake releasing this week I wanted to make a replica of my favorite weapon in the game, Jack Krausers knife. I used Pop's house steel 8670 with carbon fiber handles and black micarta pins. Keep your eyes out for next episode where I will finish the knife, make the sheath, and test it out a bit.
Making A Decorative Knife Sheath
มุมมอง 375ปีที่แล้ว
I got some new leather and with the winter storm it seemed like a good time to stay inside and practice my leather working. I make a leather sheath for a knife that didn't have one.
Making a Set of Meteorite Earrings
มุมมอง 36ปีที่แล้ว
For valentines day I wanted to make something special for my wife. I had some spare meteorite that I shaped into a sun and moon.
Restoring an Old Champion Coal Forge
มุมมอง 17Kปีที่แล้ว
I found an old Champion coal pot forge abandon in a barn and restore it to new condition. This little peace of local history turned out really nice and was given a second life. I hope to make a lot of projects with this in the future!
Forging a knife from 80CRV2 and Wenge Wood
มุมมอง 1.5Kปีที่แล้ว
I take a bar of 80CRV 2 and forge it into a small pocket knife. I used wenge wood for the scales. Every good knife needs a good sheath, so I cut and patterned some leather to make a handy little belt holster.
Turning a Decorative Wooden Plate on the Lathe
มุมมอง 203ปีที่แล้ว
In this weeks episode I turn a wooden plate on my lathe with some scrap wood I had laying around the shop.
Making a Set of Chefs Knives
มุมมอง 1.1Kปีที่แล้ว
In this video I make a set of chefs knives. The first is a camp knife made from 5160 with a forged finish and a walnut handle. You could chop a log or cut vegetables with it. The second is Pop's 8670 house steel with antique bone paper micarta handles finished on a very fine surface conditioning belt. Most of the material is from Pop's Knife Supply popsknife.supplies/ To learn more about my ele...
Making a Lamp by Casting a Flower in Epoxy Resin and a walnut Base
มุมมอง 407ปีที่แล้ว
I make a lamp out of a flower and epoxy resin and use LED lights in the base that I turned out of walnut.
Using Common Items Around the Shop to Electro-Etch Metal
มุมมอง 115ปีที่แล้ว
It is common for the new blade smith to not be able to afford elector-etching equipment or solutions. We will look at a few ways to make both at home with commonly found items from around the shop. Allen Strickland made the stencil of my touch-mark for me. If you are interested in having him make stencils for you you can reach him at stricklandknives@aol.com or visit his FB page at facebook.com...
Making a Kydex Knife Holster
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
In the episode I make a Kydex Knife holster to replace a broken leather holster for a Leather-man knife.
Making a set of Christmas Knives
มุมมอง 815ปีที่แล้ว

Building a High Powered Rocket from Composite Warehouse
You try forging a Leon s'Kennedy knife from resident evil 4 original
I have considered it. I got enough projects in the works that if I do it will still be a while.
Nice video. I hate to hear about the theft of your knives. Maybe you could try to make a close up of the knives and your makers mark.
The knives were stolen before I could get the close ups of the fillet knife. The closest closeup I have is right after I cut the tomato. The touch mark is the rune I use in the beginning of the videos called Algiz.
He had a winkler style sheath
I just got a Buffalo coal fordge and was wondering what you lined the fordge with? It looked like sand but what was the donut made of you put around the air outlet?
I used Rutland 211 refractory cement to make the little dam around the air vent. The rest was just sand. Its been working really good for me so far. There likely is better options, but this was to keep it cheaper.
👎 🥴 Pattern (s) ? ? Materials list ? ? Why heat wire ? ? Seriously lacking instruction! ! ! 💩
Do u sell these blades?
I do sell my blades, unfortunately this one and the one in the video I m currently making both got stolen. I don't have any in stock at the moment, iv'e been really busy lately!
@@theanvilofalgiz361 That sucks. Let me know if u have one for sale one day. Thanks
Hello, I really admire your work. I've been a fan of this knife since the original game came out in 2005 and I've always wanted to have it in real life. Can you sell it or make one to order? Thank you !
Just picked up one like this except mine is in worse shape. Doesn’t move and had to pour water out of it before transport. Will be making a video of my own about it. Will have to plug your video when I do. Great job
Thanks, if you have any questions let me know. Mine was in great shape when I got it, but I did a lot of research ahead of the restoration as well.
Is that a Shouth Bend 9A lathe? It was my first lathe. Upgraded to a larger lathe but I wish I still had the South Bend.
It is, I got it and all the tools for a killer deal. I will not part with it unless I absolutely have too. even if I upgrade.
Thats a beautiful knife. I would wear it.
Thank you! It is one of my finest so far. I can only improve from here.
That looks bad ass. What is the white box thing called and how does that work? And oven??? Who would have guessed.
That's a kiln, used to heat treat the steel. the oven is another heat treat method that makes the steel less likely to break.
Amo cala ! Flor muito linda 😻
😘😘❤❤
I inherited my grandfather’s forge and anvil when my father died. I haven’t restored it yet but it’s identical to yours as best I can tell. I’m in my 60’s and want my sons to know how to do it. They are modern men just each side of 40. Computer work left them hanging.
Depending on the initial condition and your tools its not to bad of a restoration. took me about 4 days if I remember correctly. I would use it as my main forge if I wasn't in town and smoked my neighbors out.
@@theanvilofalgiz361 I’m currently using mine as a stand for a small, cheap propane forge. I’ll get my boys banging steel one way or another. It’ll give me a chance to do a tear down on the blower. A nephew dropped a rock inside and jammed up the works.

outstanding
Thanks
It's a little bigger around than the forge I have, it was froze when I got it, but, I got it cleaned up and free again, I didn't go any further than that, I just put it to work right away.
I was fortunate that it had been stored really well and almost every part was there. Thanks for watching.
i like how you painted dat hole ting. gimme dat fan bled

A shame you don’t have a head
Awesome Build!! 😀🤘
I had to check out your build, nice work as well!
Thanks!
The snake symbol missing was a bit of a bummer for me. mainly because i've made the different knifes of Leon in the past and i could never figure out what is etched on his original Resident Evil 4 knife. Krauser never had that problem. You could create the snake with carbide mill bits for your Dremel tool to carve easy shapes like that. Other than that the best Krauser knife on TH-cam i have seen so far.
I practiced up a bit with some diamond tips and never liked the result. I wanted to try electro etching, but a stencil for a one time thing was a little pricey. I agree, I wanted to do the snake pattern, but had to pass. Thanks for watching!
I want like this One,for making hobby knife 👍👍👏👏
I have not used it yet for a knife, But I plan on using it for a parring knife here in a few weeks. good little forge! I have made several ornamental things now.
Very nice knife 👍
Thank you!
I just uploaded my berserk guts' raider dragonslayer hybrid combo. And tenchu stealth assassins heavymaru's stealth assassination combo number 1 lol 😂
Always loved RE4, and thought Krauser’s knife was pretty sweet. You did a wonderful job on making it come to life.
Thank you and thanks for watching.
this was cool to watch, I hope you got a chance to play he game, the sheath he has for his knife in game looks absolutely badass.
I am playing the game. I finished the sheath for this two days ago, and then played the part with Krauser only a few hours ago. I am thinking about totally redoing the sheath now. The Remake is absolutely awesome!!
Excelente
Thank you
U gained a sub keep up the amazing work
Thank you, I got lots of fun projects coming up!
I enjoyed watching this video and after seeing it in person I have to say it looks just as good as the one in the game
I tried to be as accurate as I could with what I had
Do you think you outdoor shop might think your getting....flakey?
NAh, That guy is tough. He understands I am a wimp.
That's "snow" good!!!!
Was there any concern about how dizzy the flowers were getting while spinning it on the lathe?
The trick was to make sure the flowers I purchased were lathe rated. initial tests proved un-lathe rated flowers would catch fire.
7:15 "By the power of buying two of them..."
Thank you, that was fun to watch.
Your welcome. It was a really fun project, and I got lucky it was in such good condition.
Congratulations on what you do !!!
Thank you! I enjoy everything I do and get to learn along the way.
Nice Job! What hardness do you take the 80CRV2 to?
Thank you! It scated a 60 file but not a 65. I tempered at 400F so it should temper back to about 60-61. I usually forget to record checking with files.
That’s not the way to make a platter, you should have glued a foot to the bottom of plate.
I will keep that in mind for next time. I have never turned something like this before.
Que buen trabajó
Dude, loved the music in the video.
😂 you funny
Good job! I have been wanting to try and make one out of Walnut too.
Thanks, Walnut is a gorgeous wood. I think after seeing the contrast with gold I will be doing more like this in the future.
Sweet
Well done! nice and relaxing to watch.
Hot dog, you did it!
